Camilla is an extremely messy person, she used to drive her roommates up the wall with this back in the day before she married APB.

Keeping separate houses like this isn't unusual, those who don't do that in their circles have instead separate quarters. Like normal people sleeping separately because of the snoring problem, just bigger 😂

These days, they are too affectionate with each other and Camilla has for instance real trouble in hot climates, it affects her health and she still goes on tour with Charles regardless. If the marriage were *ahem* "irretrievably broken down" (sorry, couldn't resist 🙈 ) she wouldn't tour with him places that literally knock her off her feet, esp at her age. She does also arrive earlier than Charles sometimes to acclimatize and prep stuff for him (!!), but also leaves earlier. No spouses who regret marrying each other would do this and then be warm towards each other on top of that.

Probably your right!! I don’t buy it as people can be very good at acting!! After all the trouble they went through to be together they cannot show cracks. Di and Charles did for a while! As they don’t spend too much time together it’s pretty easy to be affectionate as friends!!

Yes, defintely.

The rumours have existed for a long while and crucially the Times doesn't tend to publish sensationalist bs to keep the masses entertained.
Also crucially, the Times quotes direct emails of staff (eg Jason Knauf).

This isn't a "smear campagin" on Meghan and her defense on this matter was laughable, and also "empowerment, female-lead business" bla bla and then she bullies female staff..
Anyway, my point was, it's not a smear, it's defense and a more rounded picture of the overall situation. The Ssexes position themselves as perpetual victims of the press, the family, the business, and tbh they're not entirely wrong with their allegations, but the problem is they have just as much dirt sticking to themselves as all those they point their fingers at.
And those having their fingers pointed at will want to defend themselves and show that not all is as claimed (even if it damages their own reputation along the way, i.e. showing that the Winds are terrible employers and allow bullying and bullying of and amongst staff has been a problem as old as the institution).

I get what you mean. But Di's and Charles's charade didn't last too long and they were called soon "the glums" before the separation was announced. Acting works only for so long.

They didn't have to marry, I read the article you linked (once again 😂) and Charles could've easily remained single. The succession wasn't affected, in fact having Cam accepted at all was a major PR operation of several years and marriage was a pipe dream.

I can easily believe they had a downer in their marriage at the time, but I'd say the fail went a bit too far with their take on the story.

The irony was delicious to read though, Highgrove being virtually Camilla's during the Wales marriage and now that Cam is actual mistress of the house she prefers her own digs a stone's throw away...
 
People are asking why are the bullying allegations only coming to light now.

Isn't it because the man who has blown the whistle about the bullying is frustrated because he didn't get his moment in Court because Justice Warby didnt allow the letter case to go to court?

He wanted his say about Meghan but has been denied the chance so he's letting rip this way?

The bullying would have been irelvant in court anyway as the arguement was only on if the letter being published was a breach of privacy. No Judge would allow someone to bring up irrelevant allegations.

The Times is being used as The Sun (Sister paper of the Timees) and Mail (who must have known about them as how would the Times know all that aspect of the case and the Mail didn't.) wanted a paper not directly associated with the story to break it.

Do you mean Jason?

We don't know exactly who leaked the emails. Also if it was Jason (quite likely), he can't really expose his employer's business whilst still being employed. Meaning, he still works for the Cambs and he can't blow the whistle and risk his job unless his employers are ok with it.

Also remember that journos have said they talked to "senior aides", which is code for "senior staff and senior royals" (from the Camb household). This is how we know that the palace is leaking, which isn't news either, as the palace has been leaking since for ever and they sometimes leak to The Sun to gauge the public's reaction (because The Sun isn't taken too seriously, so you can pretend it was bs even though it came straight from the horse).

Definitely - its one thing to be estranged from your family, but both sides of your own family (apart from her mum) and then your partner becoming estranged from theirs, having no real friends or family to attend your own wedding, not one single person in your family apart from your Mum is a pattern.

I'm not even sure she has ANY friends - she dumped that Mulroney character, no childhood friends, people from suits are weird about her.

I fully suspect shes a narcissist, and he's a spoiled brat, and they wind each other up its them against the world etc and think they can do everything on their own.

They all attended the wedding and I doubt they would say a bad word about her as most arent A lidt actors and are probably mindful of their own careers.

I do find it odd that she seems to have no childhood friends. Jessica Mulroney seemed to be the closest friend and its not like they went back decades. She is married to like a billionaires son or something so she serves a purpose.

We have a saying over here, "kick a quiet dog and it will bite you" .... They poked the bear with the Oprah interview , couldn't live their charmed life quietly... Perhaps before the palace got accused of racism, favouritism, silencing people etc they wanted to let a few truths about the couple be known... Who knows why it's all blown up but it's not over yet, more dirty knicker waving to be had by both sides....

Her father in law was the Prime Minister of Canada.

I don't think the culture war over them will heal - it's not likely anyone bullied by her at the Palace will appear on tv speaking about it as I doubt the Queen would ever allow that so it will all be restricted to the written evidence. And the press will forever write about them as it must be profitable for them.
 
Do people think Harry and Meghan will actually last?

Around a year in I said max 3 to 5 years. However, given Megxit I think he is so blinded by her that they actually could actually last.
 
I am actually disgusted at the horrible and disgusting things I’m reading on Twitter wishing Prince Philip dead , it makes me angry to how disgusting people are.

When he does pass all the horrible and nasty stuff written then will be disgusting to, it happened with Captain Tom.

it’s funny how the ones wishing he would hurry up and die are Meghan supporters.

I just saw a tweet calling Meghan amazing and wonderful and that the queen is an old witch who needs to hurry up and die as she is irrelevant.. wow just wow

it’s the bullying elderly people for me from Meghans loyal fans

I will say all this drama wirh M&H has given me a new appreciation of some of the other members of the Royal Family.

I've always been a big fan of Princess Anne - ive met her through work and my mum is dead proud of the photo of me and her.

My attitude towards Camilla has also softened. She gave that lovely speech at the theatre awards. You would think that an actress might like to reach out to people in her profession who are suffering.

But it's really Edwand and Sophie who've impressed me. They are the example that M&H should have looked at - lots of intense press for a while and then it levels out. Even Sophie volunteering at a covid vaccination centre made very little press - a lot less than it deserved.

But then if you want privacy, would you really be doing a 2hr interview with Oprah???
