I totally agree. She is so toxic that she must have poison running through her veins or could that be the botox overload seeping from her face? I can barely watch the program anymore because of the concentrated levels of superficial narcissism is way too high.
I have to mention Christine Mcguiness. She's actually the worst of them. She may seem harmless but her level of narcissism is off the charts. I feel so sorry for her kids. I think she has 2 autistic children.
While Autism can be caused by genetic factors, the environment in which a baby is born can play a part too. In her case it was possibly due to a lack of motherly bonding and eye contact in early development. Bet she spends most of her time in front of the mirror instead of playing with her kids. Highly narcissistic parents are incredibly damaging to the emotional wellbeing of their children.
Autism is a Psychopathological condition, meaning it's neurological, nothing to do with the environment, you're born with.
However, you are right about the nurturing and environment, even for adults (I have autism and adhd snd work with children with adhd and ASD)
Without a safe environment symptoms worsen.
But you don't develop autism, you can't suddenly have it from lack of eye contact.
And autistics actually DO have empathy
If anything too much, as there are many sensory issues within the spectrum.
Narcassist parents are incredibly damaging to children, particularly if the daughter grows up to be a perceived threat to the mother.
But yes, attachment disorders often come in hand in with narcassist parents and that in turn will worsen Autism symptoms.
That is so far from the truth autism is not purely down to genetics as there is no concrete Evidence found That’s proven this. It is a neurological issue that unluckily some children are born with, you cannot simply end up with autism because the way your parents have brought you up. My son has autism and my friends son also and I can assure you they were brought up the same way as their siblings.

I'm sick of people saying it is environmentally and bad parenting.. It's so damaging to parents who do thier best for thier children who have ASD.
Unfortunately, people aren't aware there's a huge spectrum of autism with differing symptoms.
Theres still some research of genetics but I do believe it is genetic. They research said its paternal, but I discovered my birth mother has aspergers and ADD, I have autism and ADHD.
I didn't say it was due to the parents in all cases. Yes, sometimes it is purely genetic and the parents are wonderful. There are some cases with narcisstic parents where the emotional needs of child are not met. I'm sure all cases are different. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

I am highly trained in child development, I have researched and wrote about autism, I have autism, and it is NEVER DUE TO THE PARENTS.
Excuse me if I am too personal, but it seems to come across that perhaps you had a narcassist parent.
And that's OK. I had a narcassist step mother who made my life hell.
However, I didn't wake up one day with autism.
I did have attachment issues due to this, but nothing to with autism
I feel you must work for CAMHS and tell every parent with an autistic child to go to parenting classes as your child has autism due to bad parenting..
There's been a lot of research and it's not an easy topic. If that's what you want to believe, fine. There is a lot of medical literature out there that shows a link. If you want to believe it's purely genetic, you're entitled to. It's easier to believe what is more comfortable. I'm also entitled to my opinion. It's the old argument nature or nurture. It's an argument that's been around for a long time.

But don't you think when you are speaking to parents who have autistic children, who have seen specialists in autism, as in neurologists, they perhaps know better then you. I know better then you and I have autism. And I'm also studying psychotherapy and Psychopathological conditions, so I know quite in depth about attachment and the emotional side of all conditions, including human nature. I also know about neuroscience.
I think perhaps you've read too many self help books and consider yourself an expert in an area in which you've no experience of and show slight narcassistic tendencies yourself.
Listen and try to understand what parents with autistic children are telling you, they have first hand experience and have seen experts.
I am telling you, as an autistic individual, you're wrong and your possibly unintentionally causing emotional damage to some parents here.
