Yes, totally worth watching from the start! Tbh the first few seasons might seem a little tame to what it's like now but it was much more authentic. I think it kicked into gear around season 3 or 4 when both tamra and gretchen were on but its worth watching earlier for the back stories.
 
I've only recently started the new RHONY and never watched the original so going to go back to it but I'm enjoying it so far but it's a bit all over the place. Still trying to figure out who I like but Ubah and Jenna seem like the most 'normal'. I kind of like Erin but feel she's going to eventually give me the ick. Loving Brynn and how she's very random

OC is the og of real housewives, you cannot appreciate where we are now without seeing how it started, back then it was actual reality. It also started at the same time as the 2008 financial crash so its interesting watching the women having to adjust their ligestles

I also rate OC as it consistently has the worst husbands of all franchises: jim, slade, brooks, matt, Simon etc

I’m on the episode now where Vicki meets with Tamra and Shannon. I didn’t know she came on as a friend, I hope she’s back full time next season
 
They're the blandest cast ever, I also don't need to hear about sex that much if they can't make it fun and light. Tedious, obnoxious, flavorless.

I agree with this. Erin is a bit dry but she's easier to watch than Sai and her whole storyline of being hungry all the time and creating content...oh and that no one else's backstory compares to hers. I know she has had a tough life but really didn't like how she wanted Jessel to tell her everything and then when she does she slates her for it
