I think the poster was referring to a get together after the funeral ceremony with a buffet or similar, rather than an open casket wake beforehand.

My brother died last November and was buried 2 weeks later. After a week when his sisters and daughter visited him they warned us that at any point going forward they may have refused us a visit as he would start to deteriorate even though he was in a fridge. Last time I went he’s fingers and lips were definitely blacker then before . And as for putting that pic up of him in hospital with a breathing tube in surrounded by crap has she no shame?

A wake is just a gathering of the people in his life. Folk talk and laugh and cry - and face facts we're British - drink. It's about allowing friends and family to come together to honour the person and remember them as they were.
Well that's how they're done in my family anyway. I think if they made people wait 6 bloody months to even dignify the man with a funeral they could have been arsed to at least let his loved ones remember him as they had a sandwich ffs. Not so much as a scone and a cuppa and the griftting cow raised thousands didn't she?
 
Still monetising widowhood to beat the band. After that travesty she called a loving send off too. Without so much as a tea urn and a cucumber sandwich on offer. Six months in the planning (e-begging). Yet not even a bit of scran offered to those who'd waited so long.

Couldn't believe the HEAD INJURY was literally the child slightly bumping her head on the back of the seat as the rollercoaster moved - the child laughed - and no further mention was made of it. Will Sarah be going after compo for this?
 
Oh dear! We must be getting bored of the ‘professional widow)! Nobody’s bothered to post anything for days (ps I am very entitled to call her that because that’s exactly what she is trying to profit like she is) the reason I am entitled is because I too was widowed early (45) and not once did I take a picture or post as she has and never did I take money off strangers……and spend it on my face!!!

You’re most definitely entitled to call her anything 😌 my mum lost my dad at 37, my mum was 35.

We don't have one single picture of anything around the time he died because pictures, videos and begging for money isn’t on your mind whenever you’ve lost someone you love. I just can’t imagine what Sarah’s mindset is posting pictures of your dead husband lying in his coffin.
