Being a troll saying nasty abusive things is bad when it is really malicious or over excessive however I do feel as a “celeb” or “influencer” you need to be ready to take the good with the bad.. you can’t expect the easy life and all the comments of “you’re gorge” etc and not expect people to have a say when you’re not necessarily looking your best.. if that’s the case go get a normal 9-5 job ... sorted
 
Sooo I’m new here. But I live 20 mins from
Brentwood. Kate Ferdinand and all her friends were mean girls during their school years, they were friends with my male cousin. Kirk was brought up in my town and bumped into my brother the other day, Seemed really happy and doing well with his business. Arg has a hefty penis (apparently). Gemma Collins was rude to my NAN in a charity shop!!!! Cannot stand that woman haha.

I went on a TOWIE bus tour of Brentwood with a friend a few years ago. It was so tit it was hilarious! We went to Minnie's, Gemma's shop, Lucy's Boutique, Danielle's shop, Sugar Hut, a bar they always film in that's next to a dual carriageway, and Lockie's cafe (but you were only allowed in if you'd pre-ordered an overpriced item; we didn't bother and went to Greggs round the corner instead).

The shops were all full of overpriced tat, with the exception of Danielle's which has some nice stock and was run by Danielle's mum who was lovely. But it was in Hornchurch, not Brentwood, which seemed a bit random.

The only cast member we met was Gemma who was "working" in her shop (her mum was on the till). I say met it was more like briefly interacted with as when we went into the shop she was all "hi gewls" but as soon as she clocked that me and my friend weren't plus size and therefore unlikely to buy anything she disappeared off out the back never to be seen again 😂

Me and my friend nearly got run over by Mario in his massive white Range Rover with personalised number plate as he didn't stop at a zebra crosssing. We also saw Sam and Billie's stepdad in Sugar Hut talking to some men and waving a wad of cash (this was at like 2pm on a random Wednesday).

The tour guide was the highlight as he knew a lot of the cast and had been an extra a few times. He had loads of stories (none of which I can remember now.......)

Brentwood used to be a nice little town until the TOWIE train rolled in.

Now some awful blow-ins have moved to the area, with their flash cars, fake tits and their crass ways.

The Sugar Hut looks like it is having a refurbishment.

I have met Mick a couple of times. He bought some plants from a garden centre I worked at. He was always very polite and engaging.

Yeah, I remember not that long ago now that you couldn't even get a taxi on a Sunday evening as it all shut up shop. It was a nice, quiet little place to live with a close community.
Now half the high street is closed, the other half is pubs/restaurants or beauty salons and hairdressers. And it's populated with towie wannabes.
Plus you have to pay half a mill for the privaledge of a 3 bed semi. 🤪 All fur coat and no knickers.

I'm one of those that believes a dog is a member of the family, and is family for life. That said, the best thing she ever did for her dogs was to give them away. She shouldn't own a dog again. All they did was sit in between her crotch for Instagram photoshoots, then they were passed off to a pet sitter the rest of the time. The dogs seem to have found a new home, and they seem to be loved and looked after. They have a public profile on insta: Ladyandprince1

I also want to praise Lauren for something. I can put aside all I dislike about her for a moment, and say that I really like that she's using her platform for one good cause. She's speaking out about getting pedos and pedalo profiles removed and banned. She speaks about it often, she's raised awareness, and I genuinely believe she's doing this from the heart without payment. There's nobody to pay her for it anyway, it's not like there a business behind it. There is nothing in the universe that is lower than a pedalo, so I'll give credit where credit is due.

I wanted to DM her and thank her for doing that, but decided against it because it'll go straight to her head. So I'll praise her silently (and on here).

I've always stood by the firm belief that there's good in everyone. A broken clock is correct twice a day.

EDIT: there's a word I'm not allowed to use apparently. I didn't write "weirdo" the word I wrote was modded. I'm sure you can work it out

Why did they hate each other in the end.

Rewatching the old episodes, nanny pat was a bit mean to Lauren too.
