The Naked Doula

Her email newsletter she’s just sent out about the ‘mastermind’ 🙄 says
‘Worried about payments? No drama! Pay later with klarna means you get flexibility at your fingertips!’

I think it’s terrible she’s encouraging people to use klarna if they can’t afford it. Her target audience is mainly new mums who are probably worried about going back to work/losing their identity etc. Getting into debt is certainly not what people in such a vulnerable position need 😞

She’s split from her husband and has moved house with the children. Don’t think they were married for long? Is he the dad of her eldest child too?

I think she put so much focus on the birth of her baby and struggled to cope with her birth not going as planned. She’s completely lost direction and her life has just fallen apart. Very sad really

After the birth of her second I’m surprised her husband didn’t try and get her sectioned to be honest, because her posts and stories were unhinged and she 100% full on lost it

Notice how she doesn’t include in her intro that she’s had 2 c sections as well - that doesn’t fit in with what she’s trying to sell does it 🙄

yet another reinvention 🙄 wtf does that even mean?! Has she ever addressed the fact nobody signed up to her £444 four week group mastermind? I couldn’t even work out what it was supposed to be.

Her personal page doesn’t say anything about thenakeddoula anymore. I wonder whether now she’s released her book she’ll try to sell it as a business. It must be really hard to work in the birth world if you didn’t get the birth experience you wanted

So she didn’t get any signups to her £444 ‘group mastermind’ but she thinks people would be willing to pay £497 for her ‘gift of vision and intuition’. It’s essentially just a life coach thing isn’t it? What makes her think she’d be good at that…her life is falling apart!

She should just stick to the birth stuff. I really enjoyed her birth content when I was pregnant.

She’s officially lost it 🤣

I have never commented on a Tattle post before - but I had a really interesting conversation with a friend a couple of weeks ago who mentioned that Naked Doula or whoever she calls herself was involved with Lauren G. I had my daughter around the same time as Lauren, so her story really broke me. I don’t think Lauren’s a bad person despite the flack she gets - but I do think she is quite naive and easily influenced.

I am really struggling to understand how someone, not medically trained (that I know of) is able to charge for very dangerous, uninformed advice around birth that has (potentially as I do not know the exact circumstances) led to the death of a little girl who would have otherwise survived. It just breaks my heart and enrages me in equal measures.

I cannot fathom how there isn’t more about this in the papers etc unless there’s a legal implication. Sorry - know this is a weird post - but when I looked for more information online the tattle thread and a couple of reddits was all I could find.

Scares me that this isn’t more widely known!

The lauren goodger thread should tell u more, you’d have to a year or so back, very silly of Lauren to trust and put her babies life in the hands of this fool,

Thank you - I’ll take a look. I have a few friends who are qualified midwives/neo natal nurses (who have spent years getting their degrees and training) and have told me what they have experienced first hand around how tragically wrong things can go when people refuse to listen to the medical advice given to them. Social media is amazing for many things; but giving a huge, unrestricted, unregulated platform to people like this woman is not it.

It’s funny how she’s always an expert in unregistered or unregulated “careers” she’s a full on cowboy 🤠 only people on a similar level of delulu will engage with her tit.

It’s madness. Lauren was actually caught up in that influencer investment scandal wasn’t she. So you will go to court for being misleading around investments on the gram; but can give dangerous medical advice with zero qualifications to do so and have no ramifications. Bonkers.
