The person who done it must have been covered in blood, to kill 4 people up close with a knife is horrific.
I hope they are close to an arrest before they might strike again.
The police that went in yesterday guess they were maybe FBI from out of state they sure didn’t want to show there faces.
I followed Delphi murders and couldn’t believe it took 5 years I hope it’s not same in this case…
Although the lead policeman I thought looked like more confident and smirked a bit in the latest interview, hope that’s a good sign
Some people seem to think that the person may have pulled their cloths off or changed clothes after the killings.

I think that I heard that it was something that Ted Bundy did if I'm not mistaken.

yeah they must have cause although it was middle of the night there was people going about, so you would have thought someone would have seen them. A neighbour has now said they heard a scream not sure if believe that though as surely if a neighbour heard it the two girls in the house would have.
I hope they are doing ok as can’t imagine how they must feel.

I’m really into real life crime and murder and this case has had me obsessed over the last few weeks. The Reddit sub is particularly interesting 😮

My personal guess is that it wasn’t a random attack. I think ethan and Cana had gone to a frat party that night and invited people back to their house - when they arrived back they all hung out with Madison and Kaylee. I reckon M & K went to bed and during this time X and E were involved in some kind of altercation with whoever was back with them. Some kind of fight broke out with the couple being killed. The killer or killers then realised Madison and Kaylee also had to go as they’d seen them there and would report it to the police.

The two girls downstairs survived because they’d been asleep the whole time, their rooms were tucked out of the way and the killer or killers didn’t know they were there.

I think the dangerous thing with this theory is that frats are known for protecting their own and keeping a lot of secrets. It wouldn’t surprise me if some cover up comes from this whole thing.
Did you see were someone said that they saw the Front door on the first floor opened was wide open around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 13?

I’m not sure why marshals would need to visit an active crime scene. I think FBI - they use rental vehicles and one of the victims was from Washington so that makes sense.
I don't think that agents from Washington state were there due to one of the victims being from Washington state, I heard that there is a city in Washington stated that is really close to Moscow.

it was talked about on NewsNation, I wish that someone else had this much coverage about these murders other than them.

"Former homicide detective Fil Waters believes they had a specific question about the scene they were trying to verify." according to this guy

Washington plates, what do we think? FBI maybe a rental car if they flew in to Washington? Or US Marshals as they have an office in Spokane?
Newsnation talked about it.
I don't know which agents those are It may be FBI and Idaho State Police.

Former homicide detective Fil Waters believes they had a specific question about the scene they were trying to verify.

I suppose the implication of the front door being open at 8.30am is that the killer left that way, which seems strange as it's widely reported that they came in through the sliding doors on the next level up, at the back.

No idea why the 2 on the ground floor were spared 🤷‍♀️

I have had a look at the house plan and the way it is built. Hard to explain but the way it is built into the hill at the back, the ground floor essentially would seem like a basement when inside? the 1st floor would probably seem like the 'main floor'. In that sense I can see why the killer maybe didn't venture downstairs but this is just speculation on my part.

There is so much false info flying about more so than any other murders case and it makes me wonder.

(Sorry total true crime lover but can’t for life remember the show )

I watched something about serial/sadistic killers, think on Netflix and I remember them saying police some times if they suspect it is a serial or sadisitc killing they will put inaccurate info into the public domain because it annoys these type of killers
As they are proud of their work and want facts to be correct, so it hope will make them try and reach out in one way or another.

I don’t think it’s a serial killing but I do think this was sadistic and planned and my worry is this person has now got the taste of murder. Let’s hope they get caught sooner rather than later

I know, it's horrific to think they're out there, walking around

That was my theory on why the police originally said that Kaylee and Maddie got home at 1.45am and Kaylee’s family kept saying that the timeline was wrong and they got home at 1.56am and the police knew it was 1.56am.

Of course the police knew it was 1.56am from the start, they had the same evidence the family had so I couldn’t help thinking that was a ploy.

Unfortunately it didn’t work because the sister kept saying on every news show that the police have the timeline wrong.

Given that the police don't seem to have much evidence and whatever DNA they have or have not found is not doing much, I'd agree. I think them calling everything sloppy at the start was more of a reference to it being potentially poorly planned (hard to think they wanted 4 people dead, more likely that they targetted one or two imo + seems stupid to leave two potential witnesses alive) and generally the mess they made inside which one would think that they left DNA or would have been easy to notice once they left the crime scene as they would presumably be covered in blood

At the moment the best they seem to have is a car and (a) the people may be unrelated/not seen anything or (b) they find the car but it doesn't lead them to the killer, obviously (c) is the best outcome where it all goes smoothly

I really do think Kaylee family have jeopardised the investigation. I know they are upset and I can’t even imagine how they are feeling. But they really have come across as I know better and quite ignorant to the other families . I know it’s a small town and they are unlikely use to dealing with these types of cases however I’m sure the police took advice from other police forces/FBI.

Even with the footage of the food truck she was all over the press saying she found the footage. Now I’m in the UK and I’ve seen it. So if she is running around shouting her mouth off if the killer is still local she is basically tipping them off what they are looking at, making it easier for them to plot and cover their tracks

Thanks @LasVegas702 ! Sounds like they were going in there with something specific in mind then?

This is the best visual representation of the layout of the house that I’ve found:
(it just gets a bit creepy and OTT at the end)

Thanks, watching that I can see how the killer missed the 2 girls downstairs.
Anyone think it’s odd the dog being on its own in separate room, you would think if they had been out all nights the dog would be in bed with the girls?
Can’t say anything about the parents cause I don’t know what I would be like if it was my kid the past 3 weeks must be torture for them.
it’s graduation weekend there and I think one of the girls was due to graduate 💔
