The Michalaks #4 Claiming sobriety, what were they thinking? It’s not semantics when they’re still drinking

I keep getting emails.. wtf can we report?!
---
Surely it’s illegal to be sending? Also arriving straight into my inbox, I think it must be illegal? I’m gonna report lol
---
What is the law?
There are two important rules on marketing emails.
  1. The sender must not hide their identity, and they must also provide a way for you to opt out of receiving further emails.
  2. Companies should not send you marketing emails without your permission.
So they’re actually breaking the law sending out these glowstate emails that none of us asked for

I was genuinely wondering what the laws on this are - my sister got the GlowState e-mails as well and said that she bought a make up bag, about ten years ago. I mean, sure, they're allowed to store the data and it'd be somewhat fine if those were marketing e-mails for her make up bag company. But that doesn't exist anymore, they've rebranded to something entirely different. It's a completely different company. Surely this can't be fully legal?

I’ve got 3 emails from “Glow State” today and the only way they could have my email address is when I bought Maggs London brush rolls back in 2015 when I really liked Hannah. Before Steph took over and ruined things.

I totally thought it was some random American MLM rubbish until I recognised her in the picture. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Hannah seems thoroughly depressed to me, I can’t imagine sending them money for them to tell me how to be… well?

And the unsubscribe button doesn’t work for me either …

Hannah’s latest ad. What a load of crap.

As a trainee ‘nutritionist’ she should know that you are much better eating proper Greek yoghurt which has more protein in than the ‘Greek style’ yoghurt. Even I know that and I’m no health guru like her!

Comes across as so disingenuous.
She’s getting paid, she will shill any old shite. They got sent so much free yogurt Rufus was outside trying to sell it 🤦‍♀️

do you remember when she did an ad for Aldi make up 😂 with a silky montage and everything.

That’s one of those weird influencer things that will randomly pop into my head now and again, like when Mrs meldrum was going to report tattle to the police for saying she wore fake tan, or when gab lindley changed her name to Mona.

Hannah said in her email yesterday she was sorted health wise because she sorted her hormones out- couldn’t possibly be anything to do with her constant day drinking and hangovers 🙄

"You'll achieve a state of thriving, where you feel great every day, balanced, in control, & optimistic, leading to a complete mind and body refresh."

Not even my therapist and medication can make me achieve that every day, but I'm sure Hannah can....sure.
