I just never felt that the parents killed JonBenet - they seem to love and treasure her and they'd invested so much time and care in raising her. They didn't appear to be desperate for money but I don't know about life insurance.Did they have life insurance on her? What would they gain from her death?
Yes ,it was a very odd cliched note, the lack of footprints outside, everything seemed cut n dried but the forensics were missingI just never felt that the parents killed JonBenet - they seem to love and treasure her and they'd invested so much time and care in raising her. Maybe Burke killed her and the parents worked together to draft the 'ransom' note to protect him, they were at risk of losing both of their children.
So sad, poor JonBenet.
The bowl of pineapple with her brothers fingerprints , she had eaten pineapple according to the autopsy report but her parents never fed her any! The lack of semen but a sexual assault occurred, a 9 yr old would need help to write such a long ransom note if the brother is guilty her parents covered for him, the whole thing seems really off and immature.
I think she was very controlled, maybe even down to her diet ? I know fruit isn’t junk food but they may have only allowed her a certain amount of calories for fear of her getting fat ?I know this is a really old post, but the pineapple argument is a red herring. A 6 year old is perfectly capable of helping herself to a bowl of pineapple if it was out on the side. I get the impression JB was quite young for her age in some ways, but not to the extent of not being able to pinch a bit of tinned fruit from a dish. She probably dipped her fingers in directly, if she was anything like the children I know.
On the Crime Weekly podcast, they said the pineapple chunks were cut from a fresh pineapple that Patsy did not even know was in the fridge. The autopsy could not say for sure if JBR had consumed pineapple or not.I know this is a really old post, but the pineapple argument is a red herring. I imagine they told him she was just sleeping, or she wasn’t hurt.I also think her brother killed her but not sure how a little boy would keep his mouth shut. Kids can’t keep secrets and don’t understand the severity of the consequences.
But then later he found out and he was interviewed….this part puzzles me. But it gotta be himI imagine they told him she was just sleeping, or she wasn’t hurt.
Absolutely… funny how the father at almost 80 is still trying to clear their name on 60 min etc. he keeps making public appearances but it’s so clear that they are the ones who have all the answers. Also the video of the brother being interviewed after this when he was younger showed he wasn't upset that she'd died. I think they hid the brother for a while after that with home schooling etc. That would stop him from talking about it, but still odd as most kids do eventually slip up in the end. I think the evidence is there when they could still hear patsy talking on the 911 call to the brother asking what he did. It had to have been him I think. Just covered up.
