Like that R family with 12 kids - a poor dead dad (apparently still in the freezer) but plenty of holidays…. There is a Fred on them too ( they have fallen out with the Mingham’s in the past) what is it with these families who churn these kids out without a thought of who is going to bloody feed them - it makes my blood boil when my 90 year old mum who has worked all her life can’t even get someone to help her take a piss without falling over -so much red tape just to get assessed - sorry derailing went off on a tangent there!!

I used to feel bad for her but not now. I’ve came to realise Isabelle is quite happy to not work , laze about all day doing nothing and go 20 free holidays a year.

If she wanted to she could enroll in college or start working she’s not 12
Shes even got no motivation to do her theory test and driving lessons which would give her some independence but no she enjoys sitting in the back seat of mummy’s car getting ran to the shops every now and then.

Izzy has no friends but again that’s her own doing she could easily join a gym , a womens football team etc or go to work and she would soon meet people to hang out with but no she prefers sitting at home playing with Jace everyday

I’m also appalled at the supermarket incident as I’ve mentioned before we have a couple of high functioning ASD family members and we’ve had our fair share of meltdowns in public (in the past) and supermarkets are a hot spot due to the fluorescent lights and crowds which can be very overwhelming for neurotypical adults let alone neurodivergent people.
Lazy is very lucky that the people in charge didn’t have a go at her because in a high stress situation the last thing anyone needs is that fat lumps nose in the middle of it with a camera in her hand (most likely).

When Esme was in her crochet Era did they ever show her actually doing the crochet or talking about how she did it ?

I ask this because I have been trying to teach myself to crochet with various books and watching you tube videos , trying various different wools and hook size and I am finding it really really hard , I can knit , dressmake, embroider , quilt etc so I really wanted to master crocheting !

Fair play to her if she mastered it herself but to be honest I find it difficult to believe , then again she has nothing else to do !!

Any master crochet tattlers want to give me beginners tips I would really appreciate it

I'm not sure you omprehend how emotional (and maybe sexual) abuse works to completely strip the victim of any sense of autonomy. How identifying completely with the abuser is a means of self protection. Guarding your only stability (the abuser). Refusing to admit to yourself that this was grooming. That you were a victim. That the only love you've ever been shown was nowt but a tool to manipulate and exploit you.

Tell me. Izzy who does not drive, is barely literate, has no friends and extended family members who are all loyal unto death to her parents. where is she to go precisely? What job do you believe is going to miraculously pop up which will take a 19 year old with no educational certificates, no work experience, no idea what might be asked in an interview let alone what sort of response might be expected. A girl who can't make change, can't do data entry, can't balance an account book or create a webpage is going to be able is she, not just to extricate herself from the prison of the mind she's been held in like an indentired slave most of her life but to gain employment? A job moreover which will offer her adequate financial security to rent a flat, buy food, get driving lessons, buy a car & by dint of this "simple" transition, a social circle of her peers will spontaneously bloom around her.

If she ever walks out that door she will have literally nowhere to go. She knows it. They know it - and they'll make damn sure to repeat that successful indoctrination with the others. Esme is proving more expensive to buy off. That is the only difference.

I know those children are abused emotionally because relations of mine spent a week having their holiday ruined by them last September for her 18th and that included emotional abuse and threats. I don’t even want to think about when they are being quiet...

We’ve all seen clips on here of Sarah emotionally abusing the children.

The law pretends to recognise the impact of emotional abuse but in reality no one actually does. It’s always a “misunderstanding” and she’d simply be directed to mediation, like I was. Which is the worst thing to do.

I too am crafty like you I learned crochet from YouTube tutorials and started out with granny squares. It’s trickier if you’re a knitter because of your muscle memory when working with yarn but once it clicks with you it clicks and you just get how it works. Good luck

There’s so much I could say, but I need to respect others, and avoid all kinds of triggers. I guess I’ll just sum it up by saying that I can’t think of anyone who ever wants to admit to themselves, let alone anyone else, that they were abused. There will always be the downplay, the ‘it was only…’; ‘they didn’t actually ….’; ‘I didn’t say no…’; ‘I didn’t know it was wrong…’

All because an adult, who was old enough to KNOW, abused their position with a someone who, for whatever reason, didn’t/couldn’t stop it and maybe went along with it.
The guilt and shame will surface eventually- and then the work can start on forging a path to reclaim the self. But those years? Oh they’re gone. Lost forever. All that time when they could have been growing and developing good habits and learning stuff - all up in smoke.

So whilst I find the two teens insufferable, of course there is pity. They’ve had no support system and even if they tried to break free - anything off script wouldn’t be tolerated by the two so called parents, toxic cunts that they are.

They’ve led the redhead to believe she’s so special and talented. Well for my sins, and because I’m a bit knackered, I looked at her latest TikTok - same tit of applying the same stuff on her face & says ‘litraly’ every other word. Her speech too is getting worse to the point that it really hurts my brain

I learnt to crochet using hooked by robin and bella coco on you tube ..my mum tried for years to teach me and I used books to no avail..but hooked by robin is very easy to follow !! good luck xx
