It's just creepy trying to be American

It’s just creepy or just Creepy? 🤪
Funny how in this sense, a capital letter changes the meaning 🙃

It’s definitely silly to try to use American expressions when your natural accent/dialect is very different.
I notice he writes ass instead of arse.

His whole speech pattern is ridiculously immature. Using ‘fink’ in place of think is one of his worse.

But it’s his wife saying ‘toh’ for to that I find most confusing 🫤 Never heard that from a Brit before - guess it’s a local thing?

But the worst, the absolute worst is every one of them saying ‘me and…’
😡

But Creepy using multeye - it just doesn’t jive with his other local inflections.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Leeds accent. I lived there for some time and have a soft spot for it. These two confuse me though. Whilst living in Yorkshire they tried to lose their accent but now they’ve moved to Lincolnshire they’re embracing it again. It’s as though they want to mark themselves out as different to wherever they lay their hats. Weirdos 🤣🙄

I find it interesting (and if I am right, totally abhorrent) that Esme was always the one, visibly disappointed at the pregnancy announcements for the younger three yet she "uses" and yes I do mean uses Mila for TikTok content.
You never really see her paying her much attention in the vlogs but she does all these twee videos with her.
What is she trying to prove I wonder? 🤔

"Me and the girls" proper makes my skin crawl

I'm finding the 'tuh' think strange too. She puts on the fake posh accent. That she needs to talk very slowly pronouncing each and every word perfectly to pull it off. And she's started this with this broad West Yorkshire 'tuh'. Which is obviously how she really speaks when the cameras are off being from Bradford. So why not just drop the fake accent. You can tell how they speak by Jace as he's around only his cult like family. And he's as Yaaarkshire as you can get

I also don't know anyone who adds ectera ectera to the end of so many sentences

Love it when the posh slips and she says toh😀
really showing her common self these days

My partner is Mancunian so I'm fond of Northern accents but Sarah's grates on my last nerve; it would be almost bearable if she didn't smack her lips and swallow air all the bloody time!!!!
Yesssss this 👆👆👆👆 glad I'm not the only one! Her swallowing air, smacking her lips and darting her eyes all over the place is Fu King annoying.🤬🤬🤬 Pronouncing too as toh is annoying because she normally puts on that fake weird accent that she thinks is 'posh' it's not!!! The Yorkshire accent for me is not annoying it's the way she is fake with it and bastardises it. I love the Yorkshire accent from people who don't try and hide it..... loved Amos Brierly from Emmerdale, back in the day "her nayyyy Mister Wilkes". She is just awful as a person.

Oh and that hot mama pickle she bought because her n, Creepy, vile, cheating husband calls her that, so she had two of her children eating both ends on camera and then had fanny eyes going down on it......... if she had a brain she'd be dangerous. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Good God. What Chris appears to be saying is that the girls are doing distance ed. So if the kids are doing distance ed, they should be doing all core subjects, which are what he is claiming are useless and outdated. They will have to turn in their work each week in order to fulfill the requirements of the course. I don’t recall if you’re asked/required to submit work to the governing body or if your enrolment is enough to satisfy them that your child is being educated sufficiently. That would make his noise about the department null and void.

If these kids aren’t being educated then they will not have the ability to ever enter tertiary education. I highly doubt Isabelle got a 9 as she’s hardly able to string a coherent sentence together (thanks to the dimwit parents). What she reads in her spare time doesn’t suggest to me that she’s studying English or English Lit at A Level.

I really hope we’re all wrong and that those kids are doing schoolwork via an online course attached to an actual school. They would have access to online lectures and email access to help with the work. They would need to be highly motivated to work on their own or the parents would need to watch the lectures so they are able to sit and help with the work. I can’t imagine any of that being the case.

None of those kids are academically gifted so working on their own in their rooms is unlikely.
If she got a 9 we would of seen proof!

I’ve just seen maybe the most hysterical thing of Creepy - maybe someone can grab a clip?

It’s around the 1 hour 2 minute mark of their verbal diarrhea the other day. I skimmed it - he’s trying to pull off the Afro Caribbean custom of teeth sucking. So, being a bit of an insomniac, I did a bit of research.

The last screenshot nailed it 🤣 😬😆

Christopher Ingham is a very pale, ginger haired, below average in looks and intellect, middle aged man from the north of England.

Someone really needs to explain to him that he’s neither American nor Caribbean.

Here’s an idea - next vacation Mr $10k a minute or whatever - go to Jamaica. Wonder around Kingston with that teeth sucking & fake smug look. Just don’t take the kids. Just you and the ‘hot wife’.

So what warranted this attempt at cultural appropriation of disgust? That anyone would believe that they won’t be uploading boring ass content of their offspring every day in December. Gripping stuff, no?

It always makes me smile when they talk about eating 'dinner'.where they come.from the evening meal is called 'tea' and lunch is called 'dinner' they've done that since the beginning to.sound either poshor.American

I hate the word lunch! It's dinner and tea.

Lunch is a bad word? 🤔
What about ‘packed lunch’?

I’m afraid it’s always lunch or dinner for me. Tea is a drink 🙂

But many of my British friends do call the evening meal tea.

Does the term ‘supper’ still get used? Maybe that was just my mother & grandmother.

All very confusing 🤯

The Inghams will never run out of comedy value in their mess of their mother tongue. It’s just such a pity that the kids don’t stand a chance - although I’m convinced the boy is bilingual- that’s definitely not English he is speaking.

Another unhealthy aspect in keeping the kids isolated- they not only have no real friends, but never seem to mix with anyone from other cultures- yet they live in a multicultural country.

No black, Asian, SE Asian, Eastern European, American 😉
I was very fortunate to mix with Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, Japanese) as well as all kinds of Europeans- both Eastern & Western.

That’s another huge gap in their lives by not attending school or age appropriate clubs & activities.

ETA - thanks to those mentioning supper 🙂
