I’ve said it before, he can’t bear to think that there’s someone else in the room with more expertise in anything than him that might influence his wife. In his head she’s his property and he’s the only one that knows what’s best for her. I’d say the medical team has picked up on that and suggested she can have her tubes tied without even addressing him. I bet that pissed him right offThe midwife in the meeting, could it be a specialist midwife if they are being monitored by other services? It’s not the norm in my trust to have a midwife at consultant meetings, a student or a nurse maybe depending what it’s for but not a midwife. I think asking for a second opinion is fine and I actually encourage women to do it if they feel unsure(would hate anyone on here to think they shouldn’t ask when reading some comments).
I think Sarah would be a lot clearer on things if she didn’t have Chris there whispering in her ear and making her doubt what she is being told.

I do hope they put her right in the middle of a 6-8 bedded bay in hospital so she has to put up with noise, and the general comings and going’s of a hospital ward, and so they can’t vlog any of it.
She truly has no appreciation for five, soon to be six, pregnancies and births that have gone so well that this vagina spot is the worst she has had to worry about. She is extremely lucky.
She seems to be having a lot of growth scans, is that normal nowadays?
What a twit, trying that dumpling like it was a Bushtucker Trial. Was the ballbag reference just for us, on account of him having a face like a slapped pig's testicle?
Urgh. Look at his nails.

She might get a section date for next Friday but she’ll have to wait for her slot, if too many emergencies come in she’ll have to wait until the Monday as there are generally no electives done at the weekend. If they are planning a elective C- section they must already have a date in mind. Baby is 39 weeks by Friday so baby must be arriving early next week sometime if not already this week since they are probably a week ahead or so
In the UK you’ll be in a ward even after a section, if you’re lucky you might get a private room. But they generally keep them for mothers whose babies are in the special baby unit, well that’s the case for my local hospital.I was a theatre nurse - have a different nursing role now (not in UK) we had 2 dedicated obstetric theatres running 24hours. One solely dedicated to emergency sections and the other did elective caesarean 8am-5pm, then as backup for emergency procedures overnight. Basically your private obstetrician booked you in at 39weeks so the hospital knew how many were planned for that day then the obstetrician would ring the day of and confirm theatre time (in case we had a high load of emergency or high risk births during that night/ day) then your private obstetrician would call you and say what time to make your way into the hospital for preop and epidural. All elective C-sections were under the care of a private obstetrician the Govt would pay if you required one but you wouldn’t know who was doing it until the day of or you could pay for a specific obstetrician through a private obstetric clinic who had operating privileges at the hospital. Obviously emergency c-sections took priority if we needed both theatres so sometimes you would have to wait for theatre time. Also you had a private room post caesarean for up to 5days if needed. If you gave birth vaginally with no complications you were expected to go home within 6 hours with visit from midwife next day. There were some 4 bed rooms if you needed longer than 6 hours.
Even when if you pay for a private room it isn’t guaranteed at least at my sisters hospital because emergencies take precedence and also women that need to be readmitted because of cross contamination concerns such as patient that has left and has had to return for some complication eg infection. In the UK you’ll be in a ward even after a section, if you’re lucky you might get a private room. She’ll struggle overnight on her own after a section but then creepy will be outside sleeping in the sprinter and the new baby can come home balancing on the mini fridge like Mila did!!
