I'd agree, my daughter is in her first year of uni and is severely dyslexic, I was proofing an essay for her last week and she managed to spell the name of the main character, which she got originally from a script differently every single time! She can spell the same word differently in the same sentence! Makes spell checking a long and manual process despite the different types of software she has to help.
I don’t think she has I think it’s because she has nothing else going on in her life, can you imagine if the only thing you had to think about is getting up. lack of education is neglectIsla’s behaviour makes me think very much if mirroring behaviour a trait often seen in girls on the autism spectrum. It doesn’t mean necessarily that Isla has it but a fact is she looks to others for how to react in various situations. As for the mess perhaps the fact she has been given so much crap is overwhelming. Why have 3 pairs of Pj’s when you can have 15, same top x5 because the colour or pattern is slightly different.Isla is very damaged by her over exposure to the fake vlog life. She constantly scans Sarah's reactions for attention and I feel sorry for her because it is clear that Sarah is so over her, I have only recently become aware of this family, so have not seen everything, but wow! They are the typical, lacking in awareness youtube vloggers that seem to be everywhere. Chris and Sarah are both very poor parents. If Isla went into mainstream education right now, I don't think she would cope at all, she is delayed in social developmentwell done parents. I think she needs socialising with girls and boys her own age, but she would be annoying to them because she is too babyish to fit in. It would take a lot out of her already damaged confidence. Her acting and mimicking is really horrible, she can't help it because Chris has really exploited her over acting for the clicks.
I think her mirroring is more because she's never been able to act naturally, she's always had to put on the act for the camera, who knows how many times she's been shouted at for not giving the "right" reaction?
