My son had this when he was 3. It wasn’t taken seriously enough by our local hospital and treated quickly enough. He ended up with Sepsis. He thankfully recovered….but is blind in the affected eye. There is no quick fix to this….he was in hospital for weeks. And he needed surgery in the following months.

Omg I’m so sorry to hear that, I hope your son is ok despite losing his sight, seems like some doctors are quick to fob it off as something minor. I remember watching the infection slowly move down my daughter’s face into her cheek and saying to the 3rd doctor that this isn’t an allergy. Was a very scary situation.

They are a total disgrace (a) to ignore the fact that their little boy was I’ll and just ignore him overnight (b) that their views are worth far more than that beautiful little boy. I could cry for little Jace to have parents like that. My nephew had something similar some 30 years ago but unlike them his parents reacted very quick when they discovered his swollen eye when he woke up. He ended up at Great Ormond Street later that night as it was found he had a rare cancer. Thankfully he did recover and is now a dad, but these morons just make me sick

The moment at 24.52 when Sarah looks frightened to death, as she hears a door bang and whispers “ oh there’s someone here“ as she realises she shouldn’t be filming in there 🤬
DISGRACEFUL PARENTS!!!!……..NO OTHER WORDS!!!!

What kind of idiots decide to go home after 8pm? I know it's evening in their world but still, they should have gone home straight away, especially when they were so far away from a hospital with an A and E department.

I've always thought it strange that they include the girls in major decisions, Creepy and Lazy are the so called 'parents' so for once act like it. I bet it was lsabelle and Esme who were pushing for them to go home.

Creepy obsessing about the coast again. Why did they buy Pylon Palace when they could have bought a house at the seaside.

What is worse while that poor little boy is sleeping in caravan chris is harping on about his drone and telescope as they have a lot of trips planned this year, one baby having to have an operation soon no thought about her except drag her about in a van or caravan and the other currently in hospital :(
That’s exactly what I was thinking he couldn’t stay in that van or is it her he hates who knows either way he has to be out.

I’ll be honest - it’s bringing it all back to me! My son is now 26. He has severe disabilities anyway - which is why I think he was left so long….but that’s another story for another time.

I can imagine, just this has given me flashbacks to last year even though my daughter recovered and has no on going issues with her eye. Sending much love to you and your son.

Poor Jace, "can we go back to our house" More reason to get his hair cut out of his eyes and his finger nails cleaned and trimmed.

Why we're staff shocked he is potty trained he is almost three years old, most of our family were potty trained by there second birthday in fact Mother insisted on it.

I have to admit that I am shocked the original emergency unit discharged a two and half year with an undiagnosed swallow infected eye like that.

Where were they looked like the stretch of Skegness near Butlins/ingoldmels but I could be wrong.
They were probably shocked because she 'dresses' him up like a baby, he had a sleep style sack on and a dummy in. They likely thought he was much younger, especially as she said he didnt make a sound.
Although she seemed really proud and boastful of the fact he didn't say a word or make a noise. She's either sick in the head or thick, or more likely both.
He obviously is feeling so unwell he doesn't want to make a noise, it's nothing to be proud of.
I've noticed she always has to have SOMETHING from the medical professionals to make herself feel better. Tiny baby, smallest theyve ever operated on, best speech of any toddler, best behaved, most polite, potty trained SO early etc
She latches on to it, needs the validation.

Poor little guy. I noticed that he couldn’t control the affected eye at all, when he could still open the lid. It was turned in something fierce. I feel so badly for him. It must be scary.
Also, I feel that his being quiet is a cause for alarm. Once when I was in for kidney stones, there was a woman in the bay next to me moaning and groaning. I was silent, just trying to stay conscious and not pass out from the pain. The nurses didn’t bother as much with the lady next to me but were checking on me every few minutes. At shift change, I heard one nurse say to the other, “Keep a close eye on this one. It’s the quiet ones you need to worry about”. I’m really concerned for Jace.
