I am new to The frugality after seeing her on right move talking about her house. I have a horrible feeling that I have seen her in real life as I live in Wood Green and her face looks familiar. Could be coincidence though because there's a lot of stripey top/saltwater sandal mums in the area now who have moved here to "renovate" as they can't afford to live where they really want to aka crouch end or muswell hill.

God yes, Wood Green hasn't gentrified to the extent that either of those areas have. And Tiger in Wood Green shopping city has closed down so she'll have to travel to Stratford to get her tiger tat.

She has an office manager AND a social media assistant?!?! So the frugality makes enough to pay 4 salaries and rent an office? The mind absolutely boggles it really does

And you’re forgetting she also pays a PR agency to get the ads and do all the leg work around affiliates. Poor little Alex isn’t as poor as what she makes out!

The whole faux-amazed “I made this!” is annoying though. She is nearly 40 isn’t she? Her peers are posting about tablescapes with amazing dinner party dishes and she, as we have discussed many times, has the cooking abilities of a 12 year old food tech student. It’s not aspirational to not know how to cook!

I’m with you here. She didn’t squeeze her potato so it just looked like a pan of slop when she was trying to slide it into the dish. Was fine when she covered it in things she didn’t have to cook but I can’t imagine the texture was pleasant

Agreed but isn’t that the whole point of it? Like it’s not masterchef her and Sainsburys are probably trying to target the
squeezed middle which is her whole schtick who eat out a lot / get deliveroos / or meal boxes like mindful chef but now want to cut back a bit cos of the cost of living…? Like the campaign feels pretty straight forward?Idk not every day wrong doings sometimes she’s really just making some eggs
