This is a useful idea but defs far beyond the comprehension of someone whose business model requires 3 adults to spend all day counting matches

Are there really that many people out there willing to pay that ££ for a meal planner to actually make it worthwhile for them?
All their ‘products’ seem so labour intensive too - hours spent packing up and going to the post office. It’s like some amateur entrepreneurial challenge you do at school!

I think anyone who is happy to spend £5 on a meal planner either A - doesn't meal
Plan or B - doesn't need to meal plan and is not bothered about saving money, I think Alex isn't frugal at all, maybe just tight esp with food expenditure
I mean it's easy to be frugal with fashion when you get it all for free!

We literally use bits of scrap paper / back of letters for the supermarket list, then chalk it on the fridge when agreed

I literally do my meal planning in my lunch break on a scrap piece of paper. I’m saving money by purely not buying that overpriced bulk pack of paper she calls a ‘meal planner’.

So glad to see the back of that post. I wonder if her next one will invite any calls for explanation? I think there were comments to the effect of “the matched you peddle cost xyz vs the license fee” so if she does now use that page to peddle their new exciting product (!!!) it’ll be interesting to see the response. My feeling is, she’s blown it with that specific audience…

absolutely. She just acted like the rest of the comments were not even there, then waited for some time to pass before deleting it…as if it never happened, hoping that everyone has forgotten. Just shows how much her head is in the clouds.

I’m sorry, she is not someone with money issues. There are people in this country with serious money issues stressing about how to pay their basic bills and afford groceries. She is so out of touch with reality. She’s basically teaching middle class ‘white’ folks how to live a ‘champagne lifestyle on lemonade money’. Her using the term ‘frugality’ is just plain insulting, especially in the current climate we’re in.

Yeah she could have even got another post out of things and lord knows they need content! It could have been a cute celebration of everything she learnt and just how much we actually get for the license fee & how important that is for poor families in the UK.

She could have even made another post on podcasts out of it and how they’re basically free audiobooks and driven engagement asking for recommendations?
