Flipping heck, tuna melts in London that look like that do not come cheap - for 2 people as well! I guess with all the ‘cheating’ of the subscription channels and not wanting to pay the BBC tv license, one can afford to splurge on these fancy snacks! For someone claiming to be so frugal, they could have made and taken some lunch with them, would have cost 1/2 the price - that’s called being frugal and looking after your money.

Don’t worry, one of Peggy’s friends will have a birthday bash and Alex will be living off the buffet and party bags for the next week!

And if one really had to buy something for lunch, what’s wrong with the local Tesco or Sainsbury’s - or even a Starbucks/Costa? Ole & Steen costs a bomb! Just goes to show how fake this ‘frugal living’ is.
I bet is like “oh is our fun money, we saved 10p a day in a jar, and that is how we afford it. Is a treat’ 🫤

She is looking into getting her wills done, poor Peggy going to inherit al her mum’s tiger plates

Why on earth is she going on about her nan’s will? This isn’t what we mean by transparency hun it means disclosing that you’ve not funded a Victorian property, double story extension, new kitchen, and the rest by fussing about £10cm streaming service subscriptions. It’s about admitting the whole bleeping lot was given to you!

But is it made from sour dough?
Hahaha jumped in to reply to the ole & steen bants to say how good their sourdough is - shame she wouldn’t have been able to afford to buy one on her visit (!)

(By the way, tattlers, O&S do a good app where you earn points just by checking in via QR code when you visit, then get loads of free coffees and cakes. And that, my lovers, is how you frugality 😎 x)

£11.20 for a meal planning notepad? I feel like Alex needs to be introduced to Wilko's or B&M for a dose of true frugality. Although I imagine their products are not 'chic' enough for her, and let's be honest that's what it's really about, isn't it. She has no interest whatsoever in being truly frugal.

That postage seems quite steep? I would have through sometime that small would be letter size, £1.80ish?
Signed for or Tracked 24h or 48h are all between £3.20 and £3.80 so it’s not really that steep for a small business to charge as much if they’re using one of those services. I usually send everything 2nd class within UK as it’s cheaper so I don’t charge for it. The customer does have the option to upgrade to one of the above, but I’ve never had issues with 2nd class service, delivery within UK has always been within 2 business days and never had any issues. I love Royal Mail ❤️
