What about the really young guy that used to be Flynn Ryder and the guy from South America? I quit DIS because of the way Pete drooled over those two. It was so inappropriate. I hope they got away from him with less regret. I had no idea about his other relationships. I’m glad the truth is coming out. At least he’s being forced to be accountable for his actions on some level and that matters.

So, since it seems that Pete sticks his head in the sand when the world is too much for him and knowing that there is almost a million dollars in debt looking him in the face it would be a major head in the sand moment. So, is rehab his “safe” place, is that what he’ll do? I see that the huge bill was also served to the Dreams Unlimited Travel company so will this be the end of friendships? So many questions.

I was reading the documents and am not savvy in legal documents. It appeared to me that Dreams wants to be taken off the lawsuit since the credit card was not obtained properly. They had no knowledge, nor was there any legal permission to have the card opened.

I am a little confused about whether Dreams is asking for the case to be dismissed because the bank issuing the credit card didn't follow legal procedures based on their own paperwork. I sure hope it doesn't get dismissed and Pete is off the hook. But I can see how they would want this to all go away because it is a very bad look.

I occasionally use an agent with Dreams to help throw some business his way because I like him, and he is good. However, with this knowledge (both the predatory behavior and actions by Pete, and the new financial mess), I am not comfortable gambling with my hard-earned money in case something happens with the agency. I feel bad for everyone except Pete, but it is what it is at this point, and unless Pete steps away, my wallet is closed.

Katrina and Tyler are living their best lives over on the kingdom report live channel and it has turned in to one of my favorite weekly disney shows (on Saturdays). It's like a much more professional and light hearted version of what the DIS used to be. The best part is that they seem so much happier then they were under the Pete reign of terror :ROFLMAO: They finally got married and the show's host officiated, and their hilarious reporter was a part of the ceremony too! So I think they landed in a much better place.

I also wanted to take a second to share how grateful I am to both Sean and Dustin for sharing so much about their experience and being really vulnerable. It makes me sad knowing what you both went through and how terribly you were treated. Being open and detailed about what you went through will absolutely help others not be victimized by Big Daddy Pete. Looking forward to the next chapter, Dustin!!

I saw that too. Looks like this is going to get real messy. Point 30. Of that document states that Dreams unlimited demands a trial by jury… I would imagine to argue they had no knowledge of credit card and thus should not incur financial responsibility, pushing it back on to Pete.
 
Not needing to pile on, or dox the guy, but Pete's house is an underwhelming and pedestrian single-story home in an equally pedestrian and boderline middle-class neighborhood. I thought the "studio" was deliberately made to look like your grandmother's breakfast nook in Wichita, but apparently that's actually it. More charade.

They have or had a third partner - Donna Lefever/Lefevre (not sure about the spelling). I think she was the one who had the travel agent experience when they started Dreams. I don't know if she's still with Dreams or not.

Also wanted to add my voice to the chorus thanking Sean and Dustin for coming forward. It's not easy to talk about these things in a society that tends to shame and blame the victims. But talking about it helps remove the stigma and may give others the courage to speak up about their own experiences, get out of an abusive relationship, or see the red flags and run the other way. Thank you again for your vulnerability and sharing your stories.

A lot of pages to go through for me this morning! I for one never liked Charles, granted that fishing thing was hilarious, but I thought he was just an arrogant t**t. I also never warmed up to Tyler and Katrina, but admit that they were underutilised. They should have had more Disneyland content.

And Sean, you look incredible :love:

That’s how I made it here. The three talked about allegations but didn’t provide a link. Through some Google-fu, I landed here. It wasn’t terribly hard.
 
On Pete’s solo show he mentioned how he would not be attending the Disneyland event because of his depression. Hearing/reading about the Amex lawsuit makes that so much clearer. He and John have to be in a bad place right now if Pete personally amassed nearly $900k in debt in the company name.
Sean is this new? Has Pete always had a company card he used for whatever he wanted? Do you think John/dreams didn’t know anything about it?
