Hi everyone. I generally post on the Kyle Pallo threads but it was the DISUnlimited threads that brought me to tattle months ago...

Sean (is it Sean or is it Shaun?) and Dustin thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I personally know how difficult it is to talk about experiences where your manager/boss treated you terribly, like you were something to be owned. I am so happy for both of you for getting past the nightmare, taking care of yourselves and moving on! I wish the best for you both!

I used to watch disunlimited all the time. I always noticed Sean seemed uncomfortable and awkward. I always sensed something was off but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Now I know my gut feelings were right. I stopped watching on a regular basis because I was so sick of Pete's holier than thou attitude. I also slowly picked up on how nobody (except Craig once in a while) challenged Pete. (Now I understand why.) Pete showing off about his travel, gaudy jewelry and tasteless designer fashion always came off as "I think I'm better than you but I'm really inadequate and will never be the person I want you to think I am." All of it was a turn-off so I stopped watching regularly. I unsubscribed everything now.

It’s a shame someone can’t buyout Pete and reformat the channel. The DIS already has a strong following, you hate to see people lose their jobs over the terrible behavior of one person.

Pete is a predator, who apparently has about the worst judgment when it comes to boundaries and financial matters.

With that being said there are some talented people there. Although they have short comings, being a whiner doesn’t rise to the level of predator.

One thing that keeps coming back up for me is that infamous episode in April where they got political and were shaming the audience for not standing up to Florida’s governor. I need to go back and get exact quotes but it was like if we, (people who live out of state) don’t stand up to their governor in his childish fight with Disney we are basically homophobic bigots.

I have zero grace for them doing squat for what was happening in the very house and on company trips. Remember, this is coming to light because of Sean and Dustin not because a single person on the team spoke up.

So basically, they don’t deserve their platform as far as I care. And don’t they dare lecture me on a social justice issue ever again.

Splash mountain is offensive to them??? The content of this thread is offensive.

That whole lecture and yet all of them will jump at a free trip to Disneyland in a couple of weeks and sell their souls after reading all that has come to light.

ETA: I apologize profusely to the poster I replied to. I am not angry at you, you are very sensitive to care about their livelihood. You are kinder and more generous than me. I am just really upset about what we have read.

Was that the episode where Julie was screaming like a banshee the entire episode? Where she claimed the Florida legislature was goign to kidnap your children if they were trans?

I'd be more worried about the queen who owns the company kidnapping my children at this point.

Hey! I’m the one who posted about someone buying out the company so everyone doesn’t loose their jobs. I get it…they are all a bunch of self righteous people who rail against injustice, but turn a blind eye to the awful behaviors right in front of their face.

Many years ago I worked for a world renowned architect (who actually did a lot of work for Disney) and the nonsense, theft, discrimination and harassment that went on in that office was appalling. At the time I was 23 completely on my own, the economy was terrible and I needed a job. So I do understand the situation some people may be in…like they are glad this is all blowing up but they can’t be caught in the fire.

I like Ryno and love his in store merchandise reviews 😂😂 Maybe he should start off by doing some of those for his personal channel. Was I the only one surprised that Craig is married? I has always thought he was gay (no biggie 🏳️‍🌈). I had Petey pegged from the start, I knew he was mostly talk, only thing that made him human was his sweet mom ❤

I like both Ryno & Craig. For quite awhile I thought they were a cute gay couple that did Disney reviews. The more I watched you can definitely see more bro vibes and then it made more sense that Craig was married.

I noticed he doesn’t even own his house, he is a co-owner and the tax bills go to someone else who’s name I have heard here so I presume to be a former love interest. The house isn’t high value so he isn’t full of assets to cover his debts. I figured the first thing he’d do is sell his house but that probably isn’t an option since he doesn’t even own it. He’s in very deep doo doo.💩

I think Sean explained before that one of Pete's exes bought the house because Pete's credit is so bad

I am not going to judge any of the team for not having their me too moment. Sean & Dustin have been very brave here, but they didn’t just blurt out on a Tues live Pete is an ass. They took years to come forward.
Craig’s wife was laid off during Covid, they have a very new baby & went through IVF to do so ($$$). Ryno has to eat & pay rent and unless he has been stashing $$ away - then just up & leaving is probably not a choice for him.
This is how the work place in America goes- it happens every day right or wrong. Every other member of that team is financially dependent on Pete. The Martins have a very nice home, so clearly he has been paying Corey a very good salary for a long time.
Plenty of people have jerks for bosses, but have no clue how dark they truly are. tit this kind of behavior happens to spouses & they have no idea their partner is a rapist, murderer, cheater, etc…

Also- didn’t Sean mention a non compete? Pete has been very smart to keep these employees tight to the vest. Victim blaming is not ok in my book & to me they have all been manipulated by Pete.
Do we know if anyone else knew of his predatory behavior @Themando?

As a travel agent with my own company, what I find concerning about that business Amex bill are a couple of different scenarios…

1. Dreams Unlimited was taking out speculative group space and paying the deposits but not being able to sell the space and not dropping the space before penalties kicked in

2. Dreams was taking in money for travel bookings and using it as float to pay off other things while charging the travel on the business Amex then not having the money to pay off the Amex for any number of reasons, travel Booking Cancellations, commissions being paid late or recalled, etc.

all just speculation of course but based on things I have seen agencies get in trouble with. That isn’t an unreasonable amount of outstanding debt for an agency of their size, but of either of these scenarios are true, the business is f-ed.

I agree, it's really not so simple as calling out your employer and deciding to be unemployed for a while. Suppose Craig knew and went off on Pete about it, or publicly ousted him--who would want to hire someone who throws their employer under the bus?

It's a really bad situation for anyone and I don't fault the low-level employees for not speaking up, as hypocritical as they may be.

John and the other owner have to know about Pete's behavior, in addition to other higher-up members. Those are the people who we should be judging for not standing up to Predator Pete.

Let's mock Ryno, Craig, Erika, etc. for putting on bad shows, not for their inaction against Pete.

I agree and I will also add that it was not their story to tell so confronting Pete without the victims being open about their stories puts the victims in jeopardy and also leaves the rest without a leg to stand on. Now that things are becoming more public, of a direct allegation is made, I will be watching very closely as to how things play out from that point forward.

This is what I thought at first too, but then reading the current docs submitted, my take away was that Dreams wants off the lawsuit entirely under the claim that they were unaware Pete even opened a business account in Dreams name.
---
If Dreams believes Pete opened a credit card without authorization and secretly racked up almost a million dollars in company debt, you would think they wouldn’t just want off the suit. They would want in on the case against him and would want him on credit card fraud.

Again, not legal advice or anything but if my business partner opened a card in my companies name and racked up that much debt and I ‘found out’ I would be against them immediately and I’d be actively working to remove them from the company.

This is what stuck out for me. "I" have a total of 7 AmEx cards: three in my company's name (Bus Plat, Blue Bus Plus and Blue Bus Cash), and 4 in my own name (Personal Plat, Bonvoy Brilliant, Delta Reserve, and Hilton Aspire). NONE of the three business cards (or any other of our lines of credit) have either my name or my home address on the statement. Dreams Unlimited is a corporation.

Plus, that's $800K in one month.

Seems like the "depression" video is a way for Pete to save face.

Does Dreams own the Dis Unplugged or do they just sponsor them? If Dreams owns the Dis, I suspect we've seen the last of Pete on the show.

This calls the rehab stay into question. Was he truly sent there for relapsing, or was it a way for Dreams to get him out of the spotlight while they tried to handle the financial burder?

Dreams headquarters out of Donnas house in NJ and Pete’s company/mailing address it’s Pete’s house here in Orlando.

The DIS is owned by Werner Travel Media. It’s a separate company.

Based on the property records (easy to search online, with the address from the credit card statement), the house was purchased by Walter Echols, Pete's ex-husband and Theresa's husband's brother, in 2003. Interestingly, Walter filed a quitclaim deed in 2021, which retitled the house in both his name and Pete's name, jointly and severally. It makes sense if they purchased the house in Walter's name due to Pete's credit, but the intent was to eventually transfer it to Pete, or that became the plan after their divorce. But probably not the best timing in hindsight, with these lawsuits getting filed 2 years later.
