Lewis Browning is the Daily Fail journalist who doesn't proof read his work. Jamie Carragher is two people.
How can they get this guy's name wrong. The lack of care over that is so disrespectful to the poor guy. It's not a one off mistake, the wrong name is used several times in the story and on the photo captions!
So fcking sick of those stories, plus the ones with celeb kids "can you guess who they are"The constant 'the actor is unrecognisable in this picture of him from 20 years ago, can you guess who it is?' Er, yes, he looks the same now and this is bleeping clickbait. & I fall for it every time.
I think they know they're facing an existential crisis and are trying different things. They seem to be on a WW3 theme atm.

Their whole business model is 90% articles that are just padding to make one social media post into a long article. AI will seriously undermine it all. There's no money in real journalism as it's so expensive for a small return so they pump out thousands of these low quality things to get clicks and shares. In the short term AI has helped them with this task, but long term no one is going to be reading these garbage articles.
I wondered for ages about this mail plus paywall stuff others complained about because I never saw it until I visited Europe. Over here there's no mail plus and all the paywalled articles are open. I thought people were being idiots when they said they couldn't read an article
This bollocks headline ... She actually said she got headaches for the first few days because of lack of caffeine, sugar and alcohol.
Coleen Rooney reveals secret health battle after suffering 'alcohol withdrawal' on I'm A Celeb
It made her sound like she had a massive drinking problem. If I were her, I'd be thinking about suing for slander.
She probably made some off-hand remark about missing having a glass of wine in the evening and the desperate Daily Fail turned it into a story about her chronic alcoholism. The tabloids seem to be circling the bowl even faster now ... not long untill they are all flushed away to become online only clickbait. It'll certainly happen within 10 years, I'm certain of it. I see Murdoch lost his court case, that'll speed-up the process.
Ah I think you've misinterpreted my post. Yes there will always be a market for their content but now iOS has AI summary built into Safari is really going to hit them. Will make it easy as pie for even the most un-tech savvy boomers to not even read their articles but hit a button to get it all in a few words. You say this but I have a feeling the gullible impressionable middle-class oldie would gobby all this up

Even people that like their content won't be bothering to read it as AI will convey it without wasting time reading their padding. Hardly ever to their articles contain real journalism that is worth reading, which is pretty common across the board these days.
Anyone else sick of the 'unrecogniseable', 'can you guess' clickbait?
