And how often are Ratso 2's designer dog coats washed?
By the looks of the huge pile of jackets and coats just inside the door I would suggest they are filthy damp, mouldy and have urine on them.
I see Percy put a tether hook by the back door.
I hope they never use that.

Jules I love the blue and white tiles but wonder why you did not design some yourself? A family portrait on each!.?just joking,
I too am just about to embark on a bathroom upgrade.
So many things to choose. I am looking at blue cabinetry that will date I know, but a girl has to live!

Maybe he's going to purchase a stone for her engagement ring so she can wear it. Or better yet, buy her a new one!

@paulawynne6420 He very bossy and is acting like a spoilt child not getting his way , like the colour on the kitchen cupboard his tone came across very nasty on video . Then next minute he is off , but did not want to go on holiday but he off now and not looking a happy chappie

Marie spend her life in the kitchen trying to please everyone, she should choose the colour SHE likes, but of course Stephanie will not have it, she wants her way to be the way! I find this really sad even if all the people insist they don’t like it and want colour. This trait of her personality is showing more and more, sad!

I find this a most peculiar thing to say!!! Why on earth shouldn't Stephanie choose the colour SHE wants for HER kitchen cupboards in HER OWN D☆☆☆ HOUSE!!!!!

An "unexpected" trip to the Netherlands?? Seems like Phillips sulking over not getting his own way over the paint colour to me. It's his usual way he did it on the train also. Just grow up Phillip and stop being so domineering, aggressive and manipulative!

@Lstanfield this is a very rude comment. Philip does more behind the scenes i.e together with Stefanie he works closely with the architects on all renovations (grand salon & rooms abpve, terrasse), he helps Nati with all the stuff needed for the B&B etc.... a 15-20min vlog does not reflect a full day at Lalande...

Good luck with the vacuum bags - I've found that they come out fusty from the lack of air. I prefer packing things away in totes with bags of silica (I make my own from bags of pure silica cat litter - so cheap, but works beautifully) - keeps the dust out and keeps everything from absorbing moisture, but still allows a bit of air. A lot of the time the vacuum sealing fails anyway, especially on the largest bags. They're a bit of a gimmick.

She was joking! If you have been followkng fir a while, you might recall that she regularly clears her closet and in the past shared some of her dresses with Marie ,Pavlina and Nati... recently she cleared gowns etc in the attic and donated quite a few to Emmaüs..

The cold white cupboard looks out of place, and since it's so massive it's kind of an eyesore. I'd go for a warm white so it matches and blends in with the display shelf next to it and ties in the fridge. Possibly also paint the shelf over the radiator.

It’s the undercoat!

I'm in the South East. No snow for me but boy is it nippy! Which leads me to my (many) frustrations with the UK housing market as this is my first year in my new rental accommodation and it is so terribly not built for this climate. Metal frame double glazing windows that leave in more draft than an open door! Heating is costing me £1.50/hour just to heat the living room (*cries in poor*). And this is a "luxury" flat, except they chose to install electric underfloor heating despite there being gas services available, because duck the end user, am I right? If anyone has any experience/advice about weatherproofing this, let me know.
So sorry to read you're cold @LadyRed. As an Aussie, living in Northern Ireland, I feel for you tidda. I find it inconceivable that some UK housing is less than adequate in keeping out the cold. Your heating bill for just one room is utterly monstrous and made my eyes pop in horror! Here's a few window tips to help keep you warm - Mr. Io and I use 'window film, caulk, draught snakes (in the shape of crochet foxes I made) and two layers of thermal curtains'. The window film, which is attached using a hair dryer, can be purchased on Amazon, Temu and Wish, and though the prices vary a lot, they all basically do the same job. I found some at B&M and Home Bargains one year of iffy quality and thickness but it did the job. I'm pretty sure B&Q would have it as well. If not someone at B&Q should be able to advise you on different options. A friend uses plain old Bubblewrap and she's toasty warm! Get yourself a heated throw for your sofa or favourite chair... oh and a decent medicinal brandy. Brandy helps! I sending you warm hugs from a horribly snowy NI.

Fanny, who is more stupid than a bucket of shiteaulaines (and twice as useless), should be employing thermal window film too, but of course, that would mean doing something useful and she's not about that. It's far more convenient for her to whinge, whine and drink and get fools to feel sorry for her, than actually doing something that would benefit everyone.

Tattlers singing the praises of the French Health Care System, St Kathy has had her issues recently with Hubby op, prescription for dressings not filled out correctly unable to get from pharmacy, nurse not booked, then questioned aseptic technique of nurse, so it appears not to be the fool proof A Star service that we hear about ?
I haven't seen St katty's blog and moan about her husbands op and so evidently I don't know the ins and outs. But I would like to say this (and no doubt st katty will get upset and take to her keyboard)...

I personally have nothing but praise for the French healthcare system. From being pregnant and giving birth, pediatric care, having cancer treatment and ensuing thyroid medication problems, broken bones and most recently a prosthetic knee replacement. With my boy and his various broken limbs, horrible injuries from cycle racing and living life as a casse cou, his dental care and the many problems that he has had with that. And himself. We have certainly had full use and full service of the French healthcare system.

Indeed, there have been doctors who were arses and nurses who were witches and hospitals that have not been good. We have made errors and had mis-understandings. So we try our absolute utmost to understand and make sure that the medical professionals understand us.

To err is human! Wasn't Katty a health professional?

I will now duck down behind the parapet because I remember from experience that katty doesn't like to be questioned.

💯 the above! I’m certain any reluctance to go to the doc is because of Marie’s belief that she knows best - viz stopping the thyroid medication and, seemingly, swerving any routine medical once over for blood tests et al - and not due to an inability to access healthcare in France. It’s a subcategory of her mantra “don’t tell me what to do”.
Would Marie have access to the free healthcare as she is not a citizen??

I concur. There is biggio family business afoot. Maman 🦇 seems to have made a point of NOT visiting SoF whilst she's been in Europe. Or, if she has, it has not been documented by either the pink phone or the yellow phone. Is she trying to avoid this confrontation? Has fanny's numerous visits to SoF stirred the tit pot? Who knows!

Thrush's impromptu, and rushed, visit to the never lands and his folks. Is he testing the waters to see if he can go home. See if the door has been left open a crack or has it been firmly slammed shut? Fanny's not gone with because...
▪︎ she's not welcome ✔
▪︎ she mistreats her dog ✔
▪︎ she was in some way responsible for her last dogs death ✔
▪︎ ma and pa Janssen don't like her ✔
▪︎ with her shadey and dodgy tax situation she has implicated pa Janssen in something highly irregular ✔
▪︎ she can't compete with bubble ✔
▪︎ she has been ordered by maman 🦇 to stay insitu, in France, whilst the biggio family summit is ongoing ✔
▪︎ ma and pa Janssen have decided that a jokes a joke and that it's time for Thrush to grow up and get a real job ✔
▪︎ Thrush is "teaching fanny a lesson" for ignoring him and overriding his choices ✔

The list goes on. And on, and on, and on.

The flogs are performing like story boards from a really bad soap opera. Thrush is not, and never will be, destined to be an actor. Can't deliver lines, wrong intonation, can't ad-lib.

And God forbid Fiona ends up in Halara!
■ Snorts has gone to get the real account books from pa Janssen for the Biggio Crime Conclave. ✔️

It is horrible to be and feel cold and also having to pay out to heat the outdoors!
Although I only rented briefly and therefore did not want to spend lots on making it stay warm…
Have you got draught excluders the doors, letterbox and key holes, a curtain on the front door ? You can get tape for the windows or these sticky or magnetic window covers,
I put thermal curtains ( cheap from Amazon ) on all the windows .
If there are no suitable poles you can easily get telescopic no screws etc to fit.
I used a telescopic shower rod for my door curtain. It was lightweight blackout thermal and was a fake blue velvet with Pom Pom and was not too hideous!
As for heating, the portable OIL filled electric radiators with a thermostat are great and not too expensive to run IMO.Make sure they are not too big as they are then too heavy to carry!!
They warm the room up quickly and can help maintain just one room to be really cosy.
---

These curtains are lightweight which means they don’t take up room when not drawn.

Hope this might help.
@LadyRed An oil filled radiator would be perfect for your room. I had one for my conservatory that I used during the winter.
They are not that expensive either. Screwfix have one which looks good.

I like mine because it is a radiant heat, rather than a fan blowing heat.

Buying the radiator is not that expensive, the problem is the electric meter whizzing around.
I figure my electric whizzes in summer , so it also does in Winter. My bill doesn't change much.
