I have a fascination for observing hands, usually as I am looking at rings! It is why I took these photos of Fanny and her brother from the same mother
If anyone is interested I ‘ won’?🤣 both the auction rings. It was budget day here and everyone was watching the budget, prices were fair…😍
Ps I don’t have a car and cannot travel and this is my hobby…

Question please…? Does this heater cause condensation? It looks good and I am sure would heat up quite quickly.

Those spider bites take a long time to heal! It was probably a bite and the venom make a tunnel through the skin and then comes out. My brother had to wear a special “wet” bandage to keep the area moist and with an antibiotic cream for like a year

Have you got draught excluders the doors, letterbox and key holes, a curtain on the front door ? You can get tape for the windows or these sticky or magnetic window covers,
I put thermal curtains ( cheap from Amazon ) on all the windows .
If there are no suitable poles you can easily get telescopic no screws etc to fit.
I used a telescopic shower rod for my door curtain. It was lightweight blackout thermal and was a fake blue velvet with Pom Pom and was not too hideous!
As for heating, the portable OIL filled electric radiators with a thermostat are great and not too expensive to run IMO.Make sure they are not too big as they are then too heavy to carry!!
They warm the room up quickly and can help maintain just one room to be really cosy.

Excellent ideas my cottage is not insulated everywhere, just where I have renovated. In the Winter I hang insulated curtains on extendable tension rods to separate spaces. I use an oil filled electric radiator in the snug area, which is insulated and new windows. It raises the temp by 5-10 degrees in ten minutes, it has a thermostat and is safe around the dogs. Will turn off if tipped over. I also have a gas whole cottage furnace, it mostly goes on at night when I have all other heating turned off. It pays to separate spaces you are not always using from ones you spend the most time in. I think its useless to try to heat Lalande and they should just move into one or two rooms and just heat them. Of course they are barely there, so what does it matter??

Well done you! score!!!

I love rings (love jewellery period) but don't like wearing them, I don't even wear my new wedding ring. I've tiny hands (I'm a short arse) and rings always look meh on me. I envy anyone with lovely elegant hands.

Not for me but my house is open plan and has a good circulation of air. It has two settings and only have on high at start, then turn down. The heat is instant like your gas hob ! 13Kg Calor Butane swap / refill £55 but you have to pay more for first bottle "agreement".
