The Halloween Party is that another up your Pethericks, who hold one very year, patreons were invited , dont think Billy has them now as no way to joing them. They do stunning decorations and a sumpious spread all home made. Marie will be working hard. If they lower the lights no one will see the brown stuff

After seeing the gruesome twosome and two-tonnes at the "transhumance gallery" in Minerve I felt the need to do a little bit of a deep dive.

Incidentally, the actual premises they visited has never been one sole business for more than a season. Minerve is that kind of place. Next year there will almost certainly be another arty, crafty business in there.

So, the name "Transhumance Gallery" or "Creation Transhumance" (which has a ®️ on the shop sign) is not all it seems. Quelle surprise.

"Creation Transhumance" is a shop front for Usine de Laquière in Mazamet. As is the store in la cité Carcassonne, which is called Anne Surry Creation. The factory shop in Mazamet is not such a pretty location as the cité Carcassonne and Minerve. When despicable fanny was spouting about the shop in Minerve I knew something didn't ring true. Mazamet, which is in the Tarn, was a town of leather works going back many hundreds of years. The tanneries were thriving, the skins would come down from the Causses in the Auvergne and it was very much a locally sourced, locally produced business. It was still pretty much in full swing when we moved here. And over the years both himself and I have bought a number of jackets and coats from Laquiere, taken things back for repairs and alterations. They are a reputable company. But cheap they are not. Sadly the leather industry has declined. All the tanneries are now closed as are most of the factories. There has been massive unemployment in Mazamet over the last 20 years. Laquière has somehow hung on. Most of the skins are now imported, though their website does state that the skins are tanned in France and the garments worked on in France. Read what you may into that! But they do still have an atelier on site in Mazamet. Which leads me to say that most of the garments are made elsewhere and finished off at the atelier in Mazamet. This is possibly their made to measure service, customising buttons and closures and in two tonnes case fitting.

My first sheepskin coat from Laquière is older than my son. Himself bought it for me for our first Christmas here, as I found myself pregnant and without a decent warm coat. It cost just shy of €1000 and is as warm and comfortable today as it was the first time I wore it. A really sound investment.

@YMI-ez4jn good spot... the gruesome twosome don't know their arses from their elbows but believe they are the absolute knowledge on all things paw-so-lyn. Whether they have made an "error" in their identification of a piece or whether they are chancing grifters making a 300% profit (no guesses which they are) on any old tit they've laid their mucky paws on, the sycophants don't give a tit. The fans are cultish in their behaviour and just want to own a piece of the gruesome twosome. It's a worrying phenomenon. Worse, it's downright scary!

I believe they are now trawling brocunts and vide grenier to stock Ye Olde Worlde Janky Jiz Internete Shoppe and con the sycophants into buying their chipped, cracked and broken shite in the belief that the gruesome twosome have owned, used and handled it.
Mis-attribution of the paucillin he's selling is picked up here, for sure, but the fans pick it up too, I think. A major grift.
I'd be interested to know if any of our Frenchies can suss out what Janky Jiz (good one, o excellent @JackSpratt) owes the French government in sales taxes on this stuff. That is the jurisdiction where the sale takes place, yes?

So if the Gruenes are there? Tanner was tagged and I can't believe he's there alone. He'll want to chaperone Jared and keep him safe from predator Thrush! Can we expect Pavlova also to pop up for the advent flogs?

Pavlova is already there. Such fun.
So I see. They're nothing if not predictable! Wash, rinse, repeat.

They don't appear to be an officially registered company in France! Unless they are trading through one of fanny's many other, shady, businesses that she works through the UK. But Janky Jiz is all out there on the interweb so Mr So-smart-Janssen could end up being the one to take the fall for it.

If the paucillin was purchased through fanny's now 'consolidation of everything company' then there will be a sales tax of 20% as the company is 'assujetti du tva'. I suspect that they may have purchased a lot of it through the old B&B status and claimed back the expense because it was used during the over priced dinners. Old stock that's not part of the new business. They can essentially sell it without the need to reconcile it in their new accounts, she puts Fuzzy head up to front the business that's not a business (just in case of an investigation) and they split the cash somewhere. There doesn't seem to be registered JarvisJanssen in the UK or France.

Narnia, remember that invisible space that’s full of wardrobes stuffed with tatty old costumes, yet Fanny goes out and purchases yet another Halloween costume. My best guess is Fanny’s flapjacks will be on full display and she’ll be in high heels on Halloween.

10 days and counting until November, but no sign of all the crap in the GS being shifted to the storage containers. No chance in hell that Fanny has gathered her band of shitoo misfits to shift tit to the containers. B&B season is over, so why hasn’t work started on the GS? Is it because work isn’t going to start? What excuse is Fanny going to come up with to explain the delay in construction, and will she wait to tell folks before or after her upcoming trips to Scotland and Morocco?

My eyes are playing up. I read flapjacks as flatpacks.

SJ being the prefab chatelaine almost makes sense.

I read the comments where everyone is excited to see everyone you've ever met coming to the Chateau AGAIN. I can't help but wonder,

do the constant pop in friends, stay as PAYING guests

If not,you will never be fully sufficient if they're staying for FREE. The same people just pop in to stay, & eat free? That's a tremendous expense! The last thing you need is freeloaders. I just think that's horrible if that's the situation. They all pile in the kitchen while Marie is trying to work! I know I'm butting in your business, but SOMEONE should say it! Hopefully, they ALL PAY, unless they have arranged to WORK OFF their stay fees. If not, SHAME on the "friends".
The competition is hotting up for someone to be more ghastly and horrible than Caroline Gooder. What a B... Of course Fanny is paying as these people are providing content and nothing would bring them back except free meals and accommodation. SUE U is suggesting that is the only thing that makes them come back - that they have no wish to see Fanny - true but brutal.
