Horny young love - that camper van they lived in must have been a rockin’. Makes it only more plausible that the horny newlyweds got pregnant with Gerry, but they weren’t in a position to care for him and found a family in Scotland to raise the child, until years later when they moved to Scotland and introduced themselves into his life. There is no doubt Gerry resembles Derek Jarvis and his short stature comes from Fanny’s maternal side of the family who were very short (just like her Maternal Grandmother and Aunt Chantal).

Yes, Armoire was traumatised with the death of Christophe but maybe he is staying because of natzi, they do need an income after all. That is until they are married and then they can get away and maybe live with his parents ?! Just speculating. :unsure: I mean, I think natzi wants to secure having him=> income and in laws, before they both leave.

I still believe that Gerry is a brother from another mother. Born out of wedlock before Dirty Derrick swept mummy off her horny feet after only 6 weeks. What a cassanova! Not! I remember Gerry telling the story about how he was going down the wrong path in life and Derrick coming to the rescue. I believe Gerry's bio mother reached out to Derrick for help with THEIR son, and that is how the relationship transpired ( and of course for Gerry to be put to work as precious Fanny's free babysitter) and Gerry's mum was given a job at the nursing home. Maybe a side piece of work when ice cold Mummy wouldn't service Derrick . Just my ESPN telling me this! I really don't think IJ is Gerry's bio mum, but the height issue is an interesting, plausible point. I could see Gerry being told his whole life how "lucky" he was that Mummy allowed him to be part of Derricks life in the nursing home. He feels beholden and now knows were the money is....though it doesn't appear that much money goes his way from the stiff, cold claws of mummy. But we will never know what really goes on behind the rotten, peeling doors of The Dump!

You're a sweetheart Gracie! Thank you for sending in the request ❤. I've only ever contributed one recipe here on request, but the immense value of recipes posted by others, especially Billy, is greatly appreciated.
 
Maybe not a popular opinion.....I, too, have struggled with the issue of Amaury. While I think it is a sad situation, I've come to the difficult conclusion that while he seems to be a changed person (and not for the better), perhaps he wanted the easy life? Maybe he wanted to get in on the Biggio way of life, grifting everything and everyone in sight. Maybe he was encouraged to do this by his parents? Or, maybe the idea that he had this big thriving business that he left isn't accurate - we see how slow he is, how meticulous he is, and maybe for him one or two customers means it's thriving?

Perhaps the struggle we see in him is not because he's weighed down by his cousin.....he's weighed down because maybe he knows it's wrong? Maybe he's found that selling his soul to the devil isn't all its cracked up to be?

I also feel empathy for him, but at the end of the day, if he didn't want to be there, he wouldn't be there!

I do feel those 3 are related but I am not sure about Mummy 🦇 ..... she is small and so is Gerry... Mmmm?
Why don't we see Gerry's Mum? God we see nearly everyone else ... even old Potties Mum !
I would say he does not look a thing like her and that is why we never see her with her Scotty Dog son !
I think old Mummy 🦇 grifted her way to stay in the UK via love struck Daddy --- must have been her Fabulous Legs !! 🦵

If natti is an administrator in tourism, working in hotels etc., she will have no problem finding a job down here. There are many, many large domaines working as spa's, hotels, wedding destinations etc. And, as @JackSpratt has pointed out, armoire has a skilled trade, is bilingual he could make a real go of it.

Due to 2 successive World wars France virtually lost the entirety of their skilled tradesmen. In that France has never recovered 😪
