Honestly, same. Just mine is with meat. Veggie Lasagna is hard to come by.
One day, I'd love to feel my Cottage-/Hobbit-/Moomincore oats and do a Lasagna from scratch, from the pasta to the sauce.
I made a lovely vege lasagna once with lots of eggplant. Must see if I can find that recipe again. There is a mushroom growing on my front lawn at the moment. Hubby suggested I eat it. I offered to make him a beef wellington using it. For some reason he wasn't keen. (Aus and NZ tattlers should understand)

Someone at culinary school may have tipped her off that a ganked recipe becomes your intellectual property when you add your own ingredients.
At least that was so in the food publishing game I played around in briefly after boot camp in the kitchen. Don't know if it's true under international copyright law and internet rules today.
I don't think putting some edible flowers on the plate qualifies for intellectual property rights.

With all the free 100 stars stuff being featured in every flog I was wondering who was modelling the stuff. Turns out at least Annalise. I guess Frk and Fanny and even Pee pee maybe???
Annelise had another Hundred Stars orange throwover on in tonight's s vlog. They didn't use LL people for the actual modelling on their website, so those garments must be free marketing gifts.
Poor Antoine, having to be filmed before and after his haircut; he looked so embarrassed. Wonder where the perpetual traveller has gone this time. She said something about Snorty not going because of where it was. The only reason I could think of, was the food, or maybe whoever she's visiting doesn't want him there but then surely she would have made up some other excuse. It's obviously a long journey and I imagine she got the train to Paris, rather than flying from Limoges. Maybe it's somewhere outside Europe but it's not SA.

You're making me laugh.
I once at Costco could not afford NOT to buy a five pound bag of fresh spinach.
I then had to shell out another hundred bucks for groceries (the cheese bill alone was ruinous) and foil pans to make FIVE GIGANTIC SPINACH LASAGNES before the five pound bag of spinach went off.
What a bargain.
That's the type of 'bargain' my hubby buys. Can't convince him that if you have to buy heaps of other stuff to go with it, or then throw lots of it out, then it's not really a bargain.

If MarIE is interested in learning Italian cuisine she should buy a couple of Anna Del Conte books.

If she wants to learn French cookery (which is what I think they should be serving guests, with fresh local produce and local wine grower) Larousse, Escoffier, La Repertoire de la Cuisine and Grand Livre de Cusine by Alan Ducasse, The complete Bocuse, Cusine Minceur, The French Laundry Cookbook, Bistronomy that should be enough to get her started. If she wants to go a bit easier Rick Stein did a good book I think it was called French Odyssey. I think they should dial down the pretence and do good local food. If I go to France I want to drink local wines and local dishes and local cheese. It is not complicated or at least have a punt at cooking French. The perfecting sushi, pasta etc is not what guests should be expecting they are going to France and I am sure want to eat French food. Mind you maybe the guests are as gauche and ignorant as Fanny so a McDonald's would be paaaarfect
I'd apprentice myself to the geniuses at Le Relais du Facteur if I were she. And if they'd have me. Very local, very French, insights into local freshwater fish and specialty poultry, festive dishes and cheese, as well as a much lighter-than-classic approach. With lots of interesting (light) Algerian touches, sensational farmers' market (light) veg sides, and deep country peasant (tending to light) Berrichon stuff. Like good French people.

The outdoor gardens, fountains, and landscaping are one of the largest examples of Fanny’s follies which will be shown daily for the next several months. It reminds you of all the excess and wasteful spending at the Dump.

Stephanie has ignored pressing foundational repairs at the Dump and instead had wasted so much money on her fantasy “ gardens“ to try to turn a farmhouse into her mini ghetto Versailles. They don’t look impressive, animals eat half the crap that is planted, she never set up an adequate watering system, and she will never spend the money now, or in the future, for an appropriate number of gardeners to maintain all of the plants and trees that she has installed at the dump. You see that several of the large fruit trees have died, many plants were eaten or died, etc.She just wanted elaborate ” gardens” so she could clutter them with fountains, tables, benches, and statues. The expensive pergola is ugly and looks cheap.

Before she started the YouTube channel, there were no elaborate flowers, trees, and “gardens” at the dump. Stephanie rarely, if ever, did any type of work outside, and had, and still has, minimal to no working knowledge about flowers, vegetable gardens, trees, etc. Recall Millionaire Mummy ebegged a lawnmower from viewers so she could mow the lawn at the dump. There were no extensive vegetable or flower gardens, and trees had not been pruned in decades. Mummy was happy to be able to hire Dan the gardener part time, just to mow and help outside.

Fast forward to today. Stephanie has established the most expensive vegetable garden in France ( with several gardeners to harvest vegetables that would be much cheaper and better to buy at the local farmer’s market), along with dozens of fruit trees, shrubs, etc. which need to be specially pruned, maintained, and watered, and plants that will need to be weeded and watered, She is establishing the stupid garden by the chapel and the crap garden by the cheap looking pergola, as well as the square, fairy light loaded fountain area in front of the Dump. The fountain is rarely clean or working. Mummy has no clue what has been planted at the Dump. Recall when Mummy filled wheelbarrows full of plants she pulled up because she thought they were weeds?

She had Nick make extensive paths in the woods which are already growing in with foliage, covered in layers of dead leaves, etc. and will never be properly cleared again. She has purchased several fountains, etc. stuffed away at the Dump. If installed, they will never be maintained, cleaned, or work consistently. She has no idea what has actually been planted and routinely misidentifies shrubs, trees, vegetables, and flowers. She has more than quadrupled the amount of work necessary to maintain the crap she has planted, and the crap installations which clutter the grounds of the Dump yet terminally cheap Stephanie refuses to pay for the necessary amount of full time gardening help, and even while currently making hundreds of thousands of dollars, still relies upon “ volunteers” to come do her outdoor work.

What will happen in the future, after CD and Patreon wanes, when she has even less money to maintain all of the high maintenance ” gardens” ? It will all fall into the same level of disrepair and overgrowth, like the grounds were when she first started filming. There will just be more areas of obvious decay. The only good thing that she has done came courtesy of Dan, who hooked her up with Nick the tree guy, who doesn’t cost her any money, and in fact generates money and firewood for her( so she could postpone heating for years and rely upon wood burners) , and has helped clear rotten trees and harvest trees which make her money that she hides from viewers and Patrons.

What do you think about Fanny’s gardening and landscaping follies?

The gardens are a diversion. A strategy to draw attention away from the mess inside the farmhouse but still create content to ensure the
e-begging dollars.

I can't tell you how awful I think the pergola looks in that garden. How completely out of scale, style, and out of place. It's -- again body dysmorphia is the theme that keeps coming up. She cannot right size herself or anything else. And was it not all confected for the telly? All her "renovations" are outdoor Potemkin village bullshit. And she is Channel 4's village idiot.

That turned out to be true too! They found the clothing years later..

Poor woman . . . Lindy Chamberlain went through hell.
If the baby's clothing hadn't been found she'd probably still be in goal.

Release on new evidence
Richard Morecroft introducing an ABC news report on the day of Lindy Chamberlain's release.
New evidence emerged on 2 February 1986 when Azaria's matinee jacket, which the police had maintained did not exist, was found partially buried adjacent to a dingo lair in an isolated location near Uluru.[8] Five days later, on 7 February 1986, with the discovery of Azaria's missing jacket supporting the Chamberlains' defence case, Chamberlain was released from prison, and her life sentence was remitted by the Northern Territory Government.[1][16] In 1987, a Royal Commission began investigating the matter further.

Lancelot did not return from chasing Nick when Stephanie called him, but returned when Marie called him. I think he's really Marie's dog now

That looked suspiciously like carrots in the lasagna. Lasagne does not include carrots. I hope I saw wrong

I don’t know about Lancelot being Philips dog…I think Stephanie and Marie have taken him over and it doesn’t look like he’s complaining

I think xanthe is a Dump account ( Fanny, phi phi etc) .With Greek origins, Xanthe is a girl’s name meaning “golden” or “yellow.” This name is derived from the Greek word for the color yellow, hence its meaning. In Greek mythology, Xanthe is the name of one of the Amazons—a group of female warriors—and one of the Oceanids—a daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. When looking for a Greek name that inspires baby to own their strength

@Motherhubbard170 Agreed. I have the same siphon and the whipped cream comes out beautifully, not in a sludge-like dripping form.

14 hours agoI don't think she was attempting whipped cream. She had talked about making foam.

I just can't anymore, anyone who thinks that bunch of crooks are great need help.

I like Amanda and Lincoln but even they've advertised that overpriced face thing that Fanny does. The Pethericks I watch now and then.

As for Chateau Luurve, that's been a no for some time. Fleuries Annas voice does my head in. The rest I've never really got into.

It's all Chateau overload.
I've given up watching pretty much all of them. I watch the Pethericks from time to time, I liked the convent kitchen reno and I guess I'm waiting to see if the chateau kitchen gets off the ground. Like you, Anna fleuries voice just grates and I can't. I just can't. Do you think it's the Surrey ear? The whole reno in France, be it chateau or maison, is old and same old same old. Maybe because I live here and I know most of them speak horseshit. Or maybe because we've done our own reno's here and I know most of them speak horseshit.

As Kat is British and the UK is no longer in the EU, if she has an accident at Dan's chateau, I hope she has good medical insurance or that he has something to cover her in the case of an accident. I wonder what her parents think about her clambering up those ladders to the very top of the building where the floor is not yet properly secured, and lifting large planks of wood and helping with steel beams as well as using an electric wood cutter. It all seems very risky for her. Dan of course, happily cuts wood with shards flying all over the place, near his face but without using safety goggles or a mask. Neither of them, of course, wears a safety helmet or harness. It's all very well for Dan to choose to take risks but it's quite different to put someone else at risk, especially someone without any prior experience. Well, for the boys' sake, I suppose it's good that it's not Annelise helping him.

I like Anna Fleurie and applaud what they have done to their chateau; she is very different from Fanny. However, I really agree with you about her voice. It is just so very loud, and she speaks so quickly, maybe it's nerves. I have to put the volume right down when she's speaking. I automatically do it when Fanny is talking as she is deafening too. At least, Anna is more sensible and is fluent but if anything, her voice is even louder, but at least, she doesn't laugh hysterically like Fanny.

I'm finding the goings on at The Dump more ridiculous than ever, which is hard to believe. It's a circus!
  • Now it's the terrace - again!
  • Now Marie thinks she can write recipes
  • Now it's the windows - again!
  • Still no heating
  • Still no new beams in the Grand Illusion Salon
  • Still no working income or higher education from The Douche Lord, yet another skip year - how many is that now?
  • Still no sewing of curtains
  • Not one room is complete
  • The grounds look like tit, everything will die anyway
  • Cooking for the BnB guests will be just as dismal as ever
  • And finally, still no stone in the hollow engagement shenanigans, I mean ring
It takes real attention, time and talent to keep everything in disarray and limbo. She reminds me of Trump, juggling court appearances, gag orders and hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and punitive damages. With loans from incredibly shady lenders. Who he'll pay off with even shadier funds.
