duck me. Nasty Natti and AnneMarie are off on yet another jolly boys outing. He has done nothing but set up a new workshop and rearrange a few light fittings for the last 12 months. Good work if you can get it. The whole lot of them are beyond taking the piss now in how little they do.

Honestly, cannot believe that all of them are off, traveling the week of an Easter party. I am having a party for 14 children on Saturday and 10 adults on Sunday. I already have my table clothes ironed my dishes pre-plan, my grocery list made my scavenger hunt all set up and ready to go out. I’m not sure how they can have company without preplanning everything. They should have their tables out in the courtyard by now but no everything’s done at the last minute, at that place

I also have a cleaning schedule for today the kitchen draperies, and the hallway and stairwell polish

an interior designer needs a good eye something I don't think you can learn. An interior designer also understands that things need to be practical and work so that you're comfortable. Nothing can even function on a practical level at La Lande every surface is jammed with tit. I know the aesthetic Fanny and Snorts want-they want the evolved look but are incapable of achieving it because they have really bad taste.

Well said. Good taste can be innate, but none of the dump crew has that.

Ding ding ding! Yes! And, also remember…Michael Petherick finally got his driver license. So why isn’t Michael driving to the farmhouse to visit his “BFF” Stephanie? I think Michael can’t stand Snorts...doesn’t even want to be in the same room with him. Especially after their one night stand. My god…Michael’s “walk of shame” the morning after that tryst must have been traumatic! He was definitely “slumming it” that night!

I wondered that as well. If tantinette and tonton sold their Benz to Isabelle did they then buy the puff’s Porsche.

Unless I’m going bonkers, there are two Mercs in the car equation! The one that Stephanie (sweet daughter that she is) bought off her aunt for Isabel, which Chantal then replaced with a newer version of the same thing. Why the Richmonds have been driving the Two Puffs’ Porsche, leaving the convertible at Lalande, is a mystery. Even more mysterious is that SJ is now swanning about in the Porsche.

Maybe Oncle et Tante have been ferrying stuff around to their new house and the Mercedes wasn’t big enough. Then, on their last visit, they swapped vehicles. I dare say someone more eagle-eyed than me will disprove that theory - I wasn’t paying attention when the Richmonds hit the road after their last visit, so perhaps “exit stage left” was in the Porsche.

It is very strange that Andrew gave free rein for the Richmonds (and now SJ) to use his car in his absence.

Spot on. Poor Fanny does it to herself. The sad girl from a very ordinary background feels the need to try and make her self look upper class. Like her Chateau she is not top drawer and why she feels the need to try is beyond me. I think Chateau La Lande could be a lovely house, imagine if Rebecca from La Ruche had bought it, it would look homely, unpretentious and lovely. I don't know what is wrong with Stephanie she seems to want to make herself and her home as gaudy, blingy and as unattractive as possible. I think it stems from insecurity that deep down she wants to be something she isn't and this crosses over to her home. That is also why she had to drive the Porsche to see the Fleuries, she is definitely not comfortable around them. Anna is younger, talented, stylish and their Chateau is worth well over double Fanny's. Mr. Smug is the kind of guy Fanny would have liked to have been with. Instead Stephanie is becoming so socially unacceptable, because she is actually an utter ne'er do well a little gutter snipe. If she had stuck to her word and rolled her sleeves up and done some serious renovations none of us would be here. As time goes by she becomes more contemptible with all her staff pandering to her every whim. Then the lazy good for nothing has the audacity to always act tired and over worked. What Stephanie needs beyond all else is a true friend to tell her some home truths and hold her to account. Anyone can see what she is doing is morally reprehensible bordering on fraudulent and they all keep just gushing over her.

You are quite right about Fanny not feeling comfortable around the Fleuries. Both she and Snorts look totally out of place and uncomfortable in the presence of anyone who is more intelligent; more knowledgeable; educated, and classier, than they are. They are always very awkward and self-conscious whenever they are with others. The only time Fanny puts on a confident manner is when she's at her own home, in charge of the situation and being the "manager" of her chateau minions. She and he look really pathetic in any other situations because they are scared of being found out. We all suffer from imposter syndrome at odd times, but this is Fanny's whole life as she knows underneath that she is a huge imposter in practically every situation, pretending to be something she is not. Maybe it all started with Mummy making her gatecrash a party at a posh private school. She found out then that she had to act a part. She's a fake through and through and she's found a "parrfect" match in her choice of partner. They know exactly how each other is feeling. It must be utterly exhausting to live like that. The fake shot to prove "we share a bed" was hilarious. It just looked like the first time he had been in bed with a woman, other than his granny or Mummy. He looked scared stiff, and how she could bear to be next to him, even for the five minutes of filming, is incredible. I can imagine that Amaury had a good laugh when he saw that, as, I am sure, all Snorty's former peers will have done. When Fanny sets out to disprove critics' opinions, she succeeds in proving just the opposite!

Just as you described, I thought there were two Mercedes, as well.

Who even knows when these two vlogs showing the visit to Anna and Philip were even filmed - I still catch myself thinking logically when it comes to timeline on Stephanie's vlog! It makes it difficult to construct a chain of logical events as to who has what vehicle and when. Just the way Stephanie likes it.

Been there 2014 done that, drove across it twice. An ex police colleague became a tourist coach driver when he retired from the force. Realised he's got an intense fear of heights when he drove over it in a 36 seater and had to shut his eyes!!!

Everything happens for a reason at HMN & foreshadowing abounds. Watch this space - maybe two trips south in such a short period simply means Amuary & Natti are just scoping out wedding venues, but I doubt it. My spider sense continues to say they are moving south and closer to his parents. Not a matter of if, but when.

It is generally the only time SJ makes the rounds are for boosts!!! Doesn't she have responsibilities to her home and business outside of TV appearances and Patreon money??? Paying staff is expensive and she's vacationed more in 3 months than I have in 15 years!!! She has quite the "Jet-setting lifestyle.

I think her viewership is going down. Many are probably pensioners who are passing away or can ill afford to pay for her lux lifestyle. While that is on them, it does make one pause to consider the fact she has already said she refuses to use her own resources like her million dollar flat in London the other home in South Africa to fix up LaLande's historic chapel. So she wants other people to pay for it. She has ZERO skills, art work or real content this is it. Now she is piggy backing off of others. Cheers to them for being so kind to allow that, I would not 1. becuase it is unethical 2. It is bad business. Whoever Caroline Gooder is, IT is so deserving of a punch in the face. Equally deserving is Snorts. That bleeping title alone pissed me off before I even began the speed watch. I bet he's hoping it runs away because Mummy didn't by him the sort of dog he wanted.

a brief off topic

Our run of tit news just continues here 2022, 2023 and now 2024. Mr Spratt's cousin (like another brother to him) who was only 59, has just died from cancer, having only received the diagnosis in January this year.

I hope all these grifters get their just desserts.

I am sorry you are having such a tough time . Grief is a physical thing too and feels like being punched sometimes.
You are using your humour on here which makes so many of us laugh which has certainly been healing for me at times.

Ratso IS going to jump out of that kitchen window and either be injured or never seen again.

Snorts showed more interest in Ziggy than his own dog. He'd have never coped with a dog like that.

The Fleuries, well, you must be desperate.

However, what I wasn't expecting was the horror film at the end, the pair of them in bed, 100% total and utter cringeworthy.

I can't think of any other flog that does the bed thing... it's truly vomit inducing... What's the point? It's nasty..

I am a observer of many of the château channels. Today, in one of my responses, I coined a term château reverie. My definition of this is when people behave, as if a château must be treated as it was in the age of Maria Antoinette. Château diaries Definitely Forrell into the Marie Antoinette mode. In your case you have a family and you in particular do most of the sweat equity in redoing your home. I respect your contribution. I hope you enjoy yourself and don’t get lost in gilding the lily in your château. It is a historic building, but your comfort and the amount of money and sweat equity should be considered. I also think that living a life that involves a social conscience is important.

At Lalande, the oldest wing is around the 1600s. Most of the wallpaper saved is from the 1800s. Only a few rooms are Middle Ages like the Marquis's suite or romantic like Roger's chamber or Bonnie Maman. Most are more French cottage with modern touches

I too agree..if one is traveling to another country then it's okk to leave one's dog at home under care..but when traveling within the same country in a car, one can easily take one's dog..Lancelot looks so sad seeing them leave

My dog goes almost everywhere I go and has for the last 14 years. Don't have a dog if you are gong to travel so much, it's not fair on them. I love this channel but that does bother me
