Though I still love the Chateau Diaries, I feel it has strayed from it's origins a bit too much. Not enough renovation/decorating of the rooms. A bit too much dog and table settings. (Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. However, Launcelot is taking over.) I am hoping you can start the Grand Salon soon. Looking forward to more about the chapel renovation and refurbishing the walls on the outside

Just watched Dan’s vlog and noticed that he is removing the burlap around his plants roots meticulously even though burlap being natural it would eventually rot away. I remember he didn’t remove the wires that bound the lime trees that he planted in the courtyard at Lalande!!! There were plenty of comments at that time mentioning that the wires needed to be removed for the stability of the trees longevity especially during storms. Stephanie, you better watch out for your lime trees

We all know Fanny has dubious taste but whatever little taste she may have is being destroyed by PJ' s appalling taste. Those nasty, cheap, large plastic baubles! Time and again he shows his tasteless, childish junk and his serious shopping disorder. That place does not need one more Christmas bauble. Michael Petherick may have questionable taste in boyfriends but he would never have bought baubles like that or vases for that matter! Fanny has made a pretty awful reputation for herself and PJ is just making everything even worse.

I love Lancelot, he is adorable. But, I have to wonder if you will be changing you channels name to The Lancelot Diaries.?! I was drawn into following you when you checked in daily with everyone & their projects around the chateau. I have absolutely no interest in Phillip's excessive thrift store purchases or his table settings. I care about the chateau & it's grounds & it's restoration progress. I'm assuming you cannot show us the Chapel restoration because it's going to be shown on TV eventually. BUT, you must be allowed to show something! And, an explanation would be nice as to why you are showing us nothing of this long anticipated project. Everyday it's food, Lancelot, Phillip, thrifting & the weather. Surely you can do better & get back to what made Chateau Diaries a sensation!

I am still away for business didn't post or read a lot here (thank you for the wallpaper suggestions @MRShavershamsdress )
I'm tired, jet lagged and I'm questioning my career choice, while longing for home.

I honored several countries with my presence (eat that SJ, I visited more countries these past few weeks then you in a year😂) My bio clock screams stay in the same time zone and let me catch up.
Reading the last few pages, I can safely assume orphan Princes and her court jester has done nothing but shop, show the dog and Hanni, Landgirl and Wendy the mouse are backk at LL...
How very exciting! Just the perfect mix to sauce up the crumbling flogs...

I feel smug seeing the smuglies candle merch fail... I love to say it, so I'm going to day it.I TOLD YOU SO! Don't make fun of my art, everyone can put out merch but only the best will be able to market it and sell it... You know we train to get our bachelors/masters, do interships, start in low paid jobs fall and get up until we are at the top! Bye loosers! 😂😂 (just to add, the smuglies are the loosers not my entertaining tattle hags, trolls and queens ❤️).
 
Snorts shops because he has bugger all else to do ALL Day EVERY Day. Fanny should take his pocket money / payment for services rendered
away from him and set him tasks which he would FAIL at spectacularly, film him and her views would go up.
It is high time she showed him the door. She should have piled ALL the crap he has bought from Emmaus and brought from his Grandparents into the back of the empty plant lorry and sent him packing back to The Netherlands in it.

They're here in the US, too. Around where I live, they mostly are found at places like Target, CVS, Walgreen's, grocery stores. Not top of the line, but not Hershey's, either! You are right, they are so pretty, but taste like not much at all.

Leonidas is excellent! The husband of my old boss worked for a Belgian company and he always took an annual trip there right after Thanksgiving. My boss always gave everyone who worked for her a box of them for Christmas, as he'd bring them back from Belgium. I worked for her for eight or nine years and I always looked forward to that box of candy! This was sometime back in the late 1990's.....you couldn't buy Leonidas here (that I know of), but now you can. It's sold online, of course, but also Macy's, a large, national department store here, carries it. That small, gold rectangular box was around $50 US last year....I don't know how much it is now.
