Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with it. She pays her taxes, she pays more than most people. Thought that’s how socialism worked everyone has equal outcome 🤷‍♀️ Least her staff are getting paid one way or another maybe people should focus on the company’s worth a lot more who aren’t paying or Furloughing their staff.
 
I see your arguments but I feel the same about Philip Green furloughing all of his staff and Richard Branson asking for a government cash injection. I feel as though these people should use their own wealth first and foremost before using the public purse. The furlough scheme can be accessed by everyone but you have to questions the morals of the millionaires using it when it could be better spent on small businesses that are extremely vulnerable at the moment etc.

You say yourself, all businesses can access the furlough scheme, so small businesses are not being denied it because Victoria Beckham and Arcadia are using the system.

Richard Branson as much as I detest the man, it is highly likely the airline industry as a whole is likely to need specific support to get through this time, though I would hope he would put his hand in his own pocket to support his business, given this is also the same man whose healthcare business sued the NHS I don't expect he will.

He company hasn’t made money for years. David bails her out. Furlough is for those who can’t afford. Greedy talentless pigs they are!!

Well, as you say, the company hasn't made money for years and is bailed out by David. Sounds like a company that can't afford to pays its staff right now and would be insolvent without regular shareholder cash injections.

Posh likes to play at being a designer, so why should the tax payer support it ?

She’s not asking for money for her business, her staff are asking for money to see them through the current situation. Would you rather they all simply lost their jobs?

It’s just a vanity project. They’ll keep funding it until she wants to stop pretending to be a designer.
 
As I saw a very valid comment - it’s a failing business and will have to close at some point but at the moment the tax payers are now propping it up.

Her feelings that she’s having the worst week pale into comparison with those who have lost family and can’t attend funerals, and those doctors and nurses working on the front line. And VB thinks a call from her will help - get a grip. Perhaps she should make surgical gowns - not a far stretch from some of her ‘own designs’ and it should be simple enough to draw on David’s etch-a-sketch (sorry laptop)

If VB didn’t post pictures of an affluent lifestyle - drinking bottles of wine costing thousands then the optics wouldn’t be so dreadful.
