Emma was insufferable- how many times did she have to say she didn’t want to be there. She was like a kid. Surely if you’re going in a show like this you have to show some level of self awareness. She’s shown herself for being difficult now and had no opportunity to show a better side of her.

the bridal boutique owner- into her £2m sales last year. So why the funk would you go on a tv show that’s been proven to show you up for comical value? It stopped being about business ages when they changed the format from them getting a job to them getting investment. Four contestants left and we finally hear their proposal and it’s for a cafe 🙄

Yes she had to go, she was still going on about it on Your Fired, pretending to be laughing at herself but meaning it, Karren gave her good advice, including when ‘just one more time’ Emma started in again, Karren told her to let it go.
 
I knew Emma would go last night, you could tell Claude disliked her by the way he looked at her in the boardroom.

I wish there was a better mix of ages and levels of experience, it would be so much more interesting to have some older people mixed in there. I also want to see women of all ages who are just normal looking and successful. I feel like the majority of them are only there for the exposure and if they win the cash injection then that’s a bonus.

I saw Karen on something the other day and she was saying they’ve got applications coming for the next series already so I hope they take note of all the comments about a better mix of people when picking.

Part of the problem is that most people with really good business plans don't want to look like an idiot on TV or don't want to go on TV with idiots. Even if they do apply, they might not get through if they haven't written ridiculously arrogant quotes on their CV
 
Reese has a crazy smile, I wouldnt buy an excursion off him. He kind of reminds me of rumplestiltskin from the Shrek films

I think some businesses have done well over the years, and I think most years there are one or two contestants with legitimate business plans Alan sugar is at least interested in. They are then surrounded by expendable fluff. I wonder if the Bride shop owner is one of the legit ones this year and could reach the final and is looking to expand on bigger scale.

Personally though I always preferred it when they were competing to actually be his apprentice

It doesn't really make sense with the businesses cause majority of the competition is not about the business, so someone with a good idea can drop out early. Then at the end they compete on who has the best business idea? Just does not make sense to me

But theyll know the business plans at the start, so they can make sure the good ones stay in. It's a pretty scripted show in that regard and lord sugar will know who he likes at the start
