To those who are saying they are not worth that paycheck - that's your opinion of course, and thank God we all don't have the same opinions.

It looks like the market would disagree. They have taken that 2FM show from the doldrums to having the largest listenership of any show on 2FM.

Apart from the 2FM show, it seems to me that they are incredibly hard working. They have two podcasts a week to prepare for and record. They have recording of TV shows to do (not my cup of tea). They are off touring their podcast this summer. They have an album coming out. They have the Pints in a Field gig this year, plus no doubt another at the three arena. I think if you work as hard as that, it's difficult to say you're not worth the money.

Ah still, 200k is an exceptionally good wage, no matter what way you look it it, I think.
I just happen to think they are good value for it because they work hard and have hit upon a formula that works.

There are others who think that they are stealing a living by acting the clown and getting paid for it. Vive la difference!

I enjoy them on 2fm. I definitely tune in especially for them, they are entertaining and naturally funny. If they are on a good wage, why is Johnny b so mane? Why is everything about money etc. I’d imagine that’s why he can’t keep a girlfriend.

It's club and was Junior A football. I reckon it was early enough 2023 but is doing the rounds now.

A WhatsApp went around of this guy (JC) had sent texts to a guy on the Ballyea team he was managing (RJ).
RJ got with the girl JC wanted to ride and maybe went out with her, he messaged him and said “I’ll picture you at training on top of her” and “I never got the opportunity to ask her for sex”.
He then went on to send a whole voice note documenting every girl he’d ever asked for the ride, named the girls and all. He said stuff like “I asked X for the ride on the debs night and she went off and had sex with Y” and “I asked X to come back the house, she’s now married to Y”. It was bizarre!! I’d hate to be the girls he named, and fellas he named who were irrelevant to the story.
