I thought someone said before they were renting? I didn’t know you could install an alarm on someone else’s house... genuinely not even being sassy.
The landlord might allow it if they don't have to pay because it would be an added feature when they are letting the house again?

She is a melt, for someone who was such a know it all buying the house I don't know why she waited over a year to alarm it?? We had our alarm sorted before there was a stick of furniture in the house, can't be too careful like.

New builds are usually wired for alarms too so it's not like it would have been a lot of work.

We didn't get ours for a while because we didn't have the money for it, these insta "stars" like to give the impression they don't have that problem

They bought the house as shown here. I'm curious how they bought the house while living abroad though as they just moved back and sorted it so quick.. Buy to let maybe?! Or cash..?! Or was her "influencing" all going through Irish accounts? The hubbies wouldn't anyway so curious how'd they managed it.. It's a 35/40 per cent downpayment too for a BTL mortgage. One of the only options from abroad and Dublin prices aren't cheap for cash..

I wonder!! We live abroad and have often thought about purchasing a house at home but as ex pats it is next to impossible to buy. As far as I know in order to get a mortgage you need to be living at home a year.

The money in Australia is very good, I have a family member who saved all they could and is now home and mortgage free, they had a lot simpler less high maintenance life than Terrie though

There's a part of me being pedantic, but I haven't seen anything that straight out says they bought the house.....?

They probably did, something like her influence money, savings, he probably got an inheritance from the mother, and then their wedding money furnished it? Dunno if that would cover the whole price or only half and then a BTL mortgage for the rest.

I'm sure they said they were renting 🤔 I could be thinking of the other ones who try make it look like they bought though

I know people who did a year or two in Australia and with their tax rebate money were able to put hefty house deposits down when they returned home. The wages are high and so is cost of living, and you pay a lot of tax but getting the rebate means you get a chunk of money refunded when you're home.
Lets not forget Terrie and the nursing recruitment scandal. I don't know if it was just gossip or where I heard it but wasn't she allegedly getting 500 euro referral money for each nurse she recruited to agencies over there?

I heard she was getting 3k per nurse which would defo add up but that feels like too high a figure so not sure?
