But there has been so much talk about his allegedly severe injury and miraculous run to the final, it’ll definitely be talked about after the match. If Novaxx is playing nice during the ceremony he will not blame his injury, but we’ve seen how insecure he really is this week.

i don’t like him at all but i don’t really get this pov: he’s still playing at an extremely high level, he shouldn’t have to retire purely to allow other players to progress. he should retire because he’s deeply unlikeable

Well he can’t cite fatigue, he’s only played one match this week before this one and the injury wasn’t a problem against the other guys. Carlos is just too good for Novaxx and he knows.

It is my piss poor way of saying ( I’m very bored of djok and want some new blood). You are right though - he is still playing at a very high level ( not that you’d know it today though)

tbh i think it was a good way of explaining why he’s never really going to be remembered as a GOAT even though he is. no one was wishing for roger to step aside so we could get younger players in, but everyone is desperate for novak to give it up
