Still not entirely convinced she was being sarcastic. If your tweet was completely misconstrued, would you not explain straight away to avoid any more misunderstandings and pile ons (for her as well as Emma)?

Anyway, good luck to Emma later! It looks like she's found a way to cope with the pressure and genuinely not give a tit what others think so hopefully this won't affect her too much
 
I did think Judy was being sarcastic as she has always been very supportive of Emma but yes she should have explained as soon as people misinterpreted it.

But like when Andy said ‘anyone but England’ all those years go..Judy will not be allowed to forget this sarcasm for years to come.

Only took for Andy Murray to cry after getting beat 6 years later at Wimbledon to be forgiven about that one. And the pile on that from that was much worse

Unfortunately I still see comments about it on Daily Fail articles about him. Those football fans won’t forgive 🤦‍♀️

Fritz always has the look of someone in pain or like he doesn’t want to be there, like he found something he was good at but actually hates it. It might just be resting witch face which I should relate to more

Fritz definitely has a game face but whenever i see on court interviews all clips of him he smiles a lot more. I like that he will confront players on the court all spectators like when he was at the French open (i think?) last year makes me like him a bit more to.
 
If Keys managed to win this is there much point if she might have to pull out of the next match?

I had just typed that when she then retired injured. Shame for her as she always does well here.

She was serving for the match but got pain in her groin, so lost that game and then had treatment off court and came back with her thigh strapped. Then had to serve which caused her more pain and she lost her game again then started crying. She then retired when it was 5-5 in the 3rd set.

I have a bad back and had groin pain the other week and it was so painful and made me feel like I was going to pass out, so can’t imagine trying to play tennis with it.
