That was emotional to watch. Interesting that Andy said he would prefer to be in the players box then in the stands. Wonder if he will go in to coaching?

What a player ā¤ļø

I was crying šŸ˜¢ I will miss him so much and I really hope he ends up Coaching as would love to still see him on the tennis circuit.

I hope he can win at least one match with Emma šŸ¤ž

When he had such a long hug with Jamie it set me off again šŸ˜¢ theyā€™re a lovely family ā¤ļø

Oh, do it, @Pivot - with a glass of wine and some tissues* to hand.

* not like that
Thanks that made me laugh. I'll probably watch it tomorrow when i'll hopefully be feeling a little less emotional. I think he would make a great coach, i also think the travelling around would be something he wouldn't mind doing as he's always said he loved that aspect of being on the tour, getting to visit so many places.

My partner said: "I know you love him, but think of it like when B (our late cat) died. You adored him, but you love C (our new cat) in a different and equally loving manner. You'll like a new player in a similar way."

Yeah you do move on but I think because Andy has played for SO long it will be a big miss.

Iā€™m switching to Jack Draper now and I wish Andy would coach him or even Emma.

I donā€™t know whether to heart or laugh at this, but laugh in a cute way that heā€™s trying to console youšŸ˜‚

I had to be sat between my boyfriend and his step dad asking why he was getting such a long tributešŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø theyā€™re more football people, and one is a United fan so got used to mediocrityšŸ˜‚

Also the fact Kimā€™s Dad is/was a Coach, so she had that lifestyle so probably wonā€™t mind it for her own children. Plus I think heā€™s given his life to Tennis that Iā€™m sure he will wish to stay a big part of it. I know he has said a few times he doesnā€™t want to be a commentator.

Yeah i remember a few years ago now when he was out injured he commentated on the Nadal/Del potro match at Wimbledon that went to five long sets, think that probably made his mind up for him lol.

His two daughters that were there were adorable.

The eldest daughter looks just like him!

In his press conference he called the younger daughter ā€˜the second oneā€™ and said thatā€™s how he distinguishes them šŸ¤£

I used to work with someone who called his children son no.1 and son no.2!

He also said he didnā€™t know his daughters were going to be there.

So glad Sue Barker came back to say goodbye to Andy.

Are people booing?
Just catching up and I thought I heard boos too. Have looked online but nothing mentioned. I wondered if the boos were the fact that Sue had been ā€œretiredā€ but who knows!!
