I just love him. His sense of humour, his sheer determination, the fact he’s always stood up for the women players, he’s just a proper inspiration

I did stop myself from explaining another reason I loved him so much to my daughter was he survived dunblane….really didn’t need to add to her already high anxiety levels about school 🙈

Man it’s so sad to see him go, he’s such a great champion for the country, the sport and especially for women’s tennis in a way no one else is.

Makes me even more sad that our government and the LTA haven’t handled his legacy properly.
The two brothers had to leave this country to get proper training and coaching as teenagers. Why aren’t we building world class training facilities for sports, giving kids - especially in deprived areas - better access to courts, just free public access? Not even just for tennis but for sports in general, imagine how many Andy and Jamie Murray’s are out there that we’ll never discover because of lack of facilities that can so easily be fixed in a country as supposedly great as the UK.

I hope Andy goes to work for the WTA or LTA because I think he’d be great in a position like that.
