personally think some people should worry more about themselves and what there doing. if your so pissed about BLM and want to raise awareness you perfectly can do so. but not everyone is interested and thats the reality 🥴

Everyone should be 100% interested. BUT that Dosent mean you should feel obliged to post about it, you can be interested and educating yourself behind closed doors.

Obviously it’s up to Brett what he chooses to post, but the fact he uses his platform to show off his car and ‘money’ and to moan about key workers doing their job by touching his ID, and then makes a point of not posting about blm makes him look a bit ignorant and very entitled in my opinion.

Thats not really up to you to decide that ‘100%’ of everyone should be interested.

Did anyone notice the two car seats in Charlotte's story of the twins walking? Makes me wonder if they are hers...
Surely they can't still fit in those?
Clearly teenmomtalks didn’t see Charlie’s story about blackout Tuesday...posting blackout Tuesday and still posting gossip on her story and grid 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Oh and Charlie didn’t last long after her apology...

Also, Brett’s on one.

I respect this but it's also important to remember that the rate of deaths and serious injuries in infants and children has fallen massively since 20 years ago through what we know now regarding e.g. sleep safety, feeding guidelines, car seat safety. The internet wasn't at everybody's fingertips 20 years ago and social media was almost non-existent so whilst it seems like things never happened 20 years ago, it's really just that it wasn't reported or shared nationwide. The evidence speaks for itself. "I did it and my kids are fine" is just not an OK attitude to have. Me now know that rear facing until 4 reduces the risk of death by collision by 500%, we know weaning before 6 months increases the risk of life-long medical issues, we know that overheating is a huge factor in deaths of infants (pram and cot death) as is leaving them to sleep in car seats for prolonged periods of time, we have recorded infants dying by strangulation or suffocation from cot bumpers time and time again.

I do get what you're saying. I really do. But it's a matter of know better, do better. I promise that using a safe car seat, weaning when baby has a mature gut and following safe sleep guidelines really doesn't compromise a kid's childhood. 😊 I don't think anybody should be slated for doing something that's unsafe - but I do think KNOWINGLY ignoring safety is unforgivable. And honestly, if you were told that rear facing is 500% safer, ignored it, and your child suffered a life long injury or worse, would you still ignore the guidelines? Probably not. You'd never forgive yourself. No parent would. 🤷‍♀️ None of these parents who lose their children in tragic accidents would still do the same thing if they could go back. 🤷‍♀️
Best comment I’ve ever seen 🥳🥳🥳

No.

The blackout wasn't about nobody posting on social media. It was about clearing the way for information to be shared. For those who can share value information and anecdotes to have a voice and not be muffled. That is what Emma did. Yes she also posted a pic or two, but she also shared something valuable, something not to deep, and something that a lot of people might not otherwise think about. It also showed how racism is still very much prevalent in the UK.

So I pulled up Amber, who was posting a PPE add and face mask ad and basically said to her it's wrong! Hospitals dont even have enough... her response as well if hospital staff can wear it why cant I wear it to tesco... jog on love your not getting up close and personal to the tescos staff or customers and if you are your not 2 meters away... educate yourself that masks are fit tested and gloves are not protection if you eat with them on and touch things with it 🤔🙄 saying her son who doesn't know what going on stands too close to people. Surely you let Ste have him to do your weekly shop... his prob touching the mask anyways.. my sister has 2 kids under 5 and they have not left the house since lockdown

People completely ignoring today and posting as normal in my opinion are part of the problem and it is ignorant in my opinion. Not getting involved and ignoring what’s happening is a massive part of the problem. It shows you don’t care. I could get deep with this but I won’t 😂 I think people who are active on social media everyday and today not mentioning it or showing the support shows what type of person they are! It’s most likely because they don’t give two fucks and don’t feel like it effects them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Privilege and self involvement. My opinion.

- Did I miss someone calling Brett racist , can’t see anything on his story’s? He’s deleted all his bullshit from today though.

No, it’s about giving up your social media and joining a movement to show how black people are muted. Posting a picture half naked is very disrespectful.

I think he must have had DM's calling him out on not speaking up so now he is trying to justify it?

Basically he's a moron who should 🤐 on subjects he isn't intelligent enough to speak on!
