I don't actually see the point in those doona things. Given the recommended times babies can be in a car seat are they not only good for the school run? Would you not also need another pram or sling anyway. I wonder if Charlie was gifted it

They're heavy, expensive and promote over use of car seats. I don't care how convenient it is (same goes for clipping the car seat onto pram chassis) it puts young babies at risk of positional asphyxiation and just isn't good for spine development to be in the position for long periods of time.

Ill admit we have a doona, but its for the car as car seats are meant to be. Its handy for jumping into the shop but definitely not for a days outing
