The thing is every one's circumstances are different, some people actually want to work at Christmas for various reasons. Some people, shock horror, willingly give up their time for free to help others at Christmas. I don't think it's fair to slate people as selfish whatever their choices are when no one knows the reasons for their choices.
As I said I can't stand Charlie and think she gets fair criticism for many many reasons but to slate her for not wanting to cook a Christmas dinner with a newborn and a toddler just because it's not how you would do things is ridiculous.

My point about them going out for Christmas was mainly because she’s a shameless beg but has money to go out for food often and going out for Christmas is expensive

Do you mean about Harry? There’s a couple threads recently where people have brought really good tea and other multiple users have backed up what they’re saying. It’s then come out from a mod it’s the same person using multiple accounts.
That’s why I’m personally hesitant to believe gossip anymore especially from new users

Yeah could be that , when people are saying its good to go out because you're not spending time in the kitchen which is fair enough for those who actually cook but I was thinking I can't see either of them cooking a Christmas dinner so don't think that point would make a difference to them
 
Maybe I'm sensitive on the issue of Xmas lunch, to me it's a big thing, its always been a big thing and I've sacrificed every year to make sure it's perfect but come to the realisation that it comes at a cost. We aren't just going out for dinner, we are actually going away completely in the hope we can slow the pace and enjoy time and activities together but I'm still nervous as it's such a change from what we usually do.

I do agree she's a complete beg I was scrolling through her wish list last night like wow, how do you expect people to buy all your kids presents, newborn essentials and things for you too. ...greedy cow.

Also agree that non of the family probably want them there, I mean would you want Charlie's sulky, moody face at your Christmas Dinner table, besides the fact them lips would put you right off your pigs in blankets 🤣

There’s been a few times on this thread and the tmuk thread where there’s been someone claiming to know one of them mums and brought some tea and they’ve been slated as being pathetic etc.. I agree though there’s always a risk that it’s bull and it can’t be verified but it’s fun when it goes off in the thread sometimes, especially when it’s been dead for a while and not much going on

Yes like the pancake lady days in the TMUK thread 😭 I miss it. Just wanted to bring some goss for us all to discuss, I love when there’s loads to read especially at night it’s like a little bedtime story

My daughter is 6 and still gets it wrong sometimes I wouldn’t dream of being vile to her Harlow deserves a better mother that would actual love and care for her the way a mother should 😭

As a chef I strongly encourage any of you to have Christmas dinner out if you can afford it and wish to, it was my choice to work and progress in this industry knowing what it entailed and cooking a lovely, fulfilling and stress free dinner for anybody at any time of year is the peak of job satisfaction for me. 😘
 
Maybe Ollie could chuck some of his packing boxes to Charlotte, poor girl is packing up her life into binbags 🤣
