I understand care homes are desperate for staff, especially currently with staff needing to isolate or look after their own relatives. But my god, surely there is someone other than Charlie? Does she understand what the job includes? Not even the nitty gritty of personal care, but the empathy you need, the remembering each persons interests, favourite topics, what not to do or say to each person. I have never applied to be a carer and never worked as one but my hats off to the people that do it. It isn’t an easy job. I know women working 60 hours+, some upto a 100 hours staying over night in the homes to meet the current demand. I’m glad she’s finally got off her arse and tried to do something, but I really don’t think that’s the job for her. It isn’t just standing round and making cuppas for the elderly all day. Some of them have really complex needs. Maybe she will surprise us.

I'm sure as a carer you can't have long extensions incase you scratch or injure a paitent.

100% agree with you. My little boy was born in May and I’ve felt so lost with no support available. I know it’s not the services fault and there is a bigger picture but when you’re a mom of a tiny baby everything can feel overwhelming enough without having to take your tiny baby out of the house because they can’t come to your house or whatever.
I haven’t heard from my health visitor since my little one was 4 months old 😫

Literally same. Baby born middle of may, saw the health visitor twice. Since then nothing.

I’ve worked in elderly care for the last 11 nearly 12 years and I’m a Team Leader - I would love to have her for induction on a shift 😂 to start you need to remove your nails and eye lashes love...oh okay there’s the door 👍🏼

Charlie just seemed so awkward in that live. Sassi just seems like a normal good mum and Charlie was desperate to just agree with everything she said. So embarrassing to watch 😂 when it comes out where she works she needs reporting as she isn’t following lockdown rules and could be spreading the virus to people she is “caring” for

What?!?! Have I missed something?

here you go ☕

She’s been there almost every day!! Charlie wouldn’t be able to cope with Brett only having Harlow every other weekend, poor girl needs a break don’t you know 🤦🏻‍♀️

Brett has already said he doesn’t have Harlow as much as people keep saying. But people here are obsessed with thinking saint Brett and Jane have full time custody 😂

She’s right, Brett is her dad, but if tables were turned and Brett made no effort, said no to having Harlow so often, Charlie would make a song and dance, that Brett never has Harlow and why’s it down to just her.. it should be equal or he should have set days. (Every weekend* for example.) Not just whenever Charlie fancies it, she needs to look at things from others perspective sometimes, that’s a flaw of hers. If Brett was the one dumping Harlow off, Charlie would have alot to say, but because she’s the mum, and has “the most” custody as Harlows “primary” carer (yeah right), she passes it off as a break and he “should because he’s her dad”. Yeah well you’re her mum. 🤷🏽‍♀️🙄

I used to work for a home care company and they didn't care who they employed. Staff turnover was crazy in that place. As long as the applicant could speak English and spell with a clean criminal record, they could have the job because they get all training given to them. It's actually quite disturbing.

Sassi couldn't give two shits about the conversation 😂

Charlie: How do you deal with trolls?
Sassi: I don't pay attention
Charlie: Neither do I, I just block them straight away now and don't bother answering them. (Reads a comment out that said stop sleeping with other men or something like that)
Also Charlie: I don't sleep with other men, I have a boyfriend.

Make your mind up Charlie, you either answer them or you don't. There were other bad comments she answered too, that's just the gist of one of them haha
