I see, I only looked at the table about the actual seats 😂

My kid is tall enough to not need a seat anymore but she still uses an isofix booster 😂
Same with my son. He’s tall for his age only 7 but 136 cm but I’ll be keeping him in a booster for a few more years yet. Not worth the risk. I’ve lost people in car crashes before so I don’t want to harm my boy

I hear you, mines 8 and 136.5cm, thinks she’s too big for a booster but I tell her otherwise 😂.

It’s scary to think cars without seat belts used to exist 😬

I have a big age gap between my kids so when my 1st was little rear facing wasn’t a thing, but as I got into baby mode with my second who is now 1 I heard and read about rear facing so it’s super easy to see the information it’s plastered everywhere, however I don’t think she has done it intentionally I can’t see Isha doing it on purpose. Hopefully someone comments on her insta or something so she can read up

Edit to say rear facing wasn’t a thing for the next stage up car seats the newborn ones yes

Yeah I hope it’s just ignorance on her part being a first time mum. Hopefully if someone points it out to her she won’t take offence and be thankful to know the information so she can turn him round. She seems a really good mum so I’m sure she doesn’t mean to put him at risk

my nephew sat on a booster seat until he was about 8 as he was quite small! not anymore, he's 5ft 10 at 15 years old, but it only takes one car crash and the consequences of not having kids in proper seats can be devastating. I used to work for the Police and a young boy aged 4 ended up quadriplegic because he was sitting on his Mum's lap during a high speed head on crash.

Jesus, that’s horrific poor thing.

I always tell my kid to sit back in the chair and not lean forward for similar reasons if there was a crash

I’m 100% pro rear facing car seats and have a nearly 4 year old who rear faces. But just to say, the 15 month old law is only for isize car seats. For other car seats it’s based on weight and they can forward face by law at 9kg.
obviously that’s not safe and just because it’s law, doesn’t mean it should be done.
just trying to make a point that it’s so easy to not understand car safety and laws and depending on her child’s weight, she might not have been actually breaking the law so MTV definitely wouldn’t intervene.
