That one on the documentary did say at the end that she continues to enjoy mother hood without the involvement of social services and it seemed to be the girl’s actual social worker who would go round to check on her. It was a good program actually really sad for her, her parents had lied about why she got took into care and then she requested her files. Her mum also got pregnant and the dad said if SS take the baby it’s ok cause the daughter can take it😳

So my niece got pregnant at 16, she was took off my sister and placed with temporary foster care, then with my Nan then her dad. Because social was signed off and no involvement since she was 10 she didn’t have anyone involved when she was pregnant/had her baby. If pregnant under the age of 16 though then it would be a safeguarding referral to SS who would do checks and see if their involvement was necessary or not

I think i must have misremembered i googled the girl and she was 19 but lived with foster carers since 5 and got a flat at 18. She was upset and worried her baby would be taking due to her past with SS😢i think she still had a social worker as she was going through her files with her😢

She was probably had a leaving care worker still they have one when 17 and couple of months till they leave the service if they have a child then doesn’t mean they’ll automatically get a social worker just because mum was in care.

It’s still on my medical file that I was in care, so when it comes to me getting pregnant then they’ll phone the local authority I was under as a kid to see if I’m ok to have the child. My local authority are against this and trying to stop gps doing this as it’s stereotyping and discrimination.

The sister could look after mum and dads kid under a kinship placement/connected persons but they would have to do a fostering application and get assessed but doesn’t mean being in care would go against her it would put her more at advantage

There was a few of them requesting the paper work and they refused to believe what their parents had done and thought it was all lies/exaggerations. I think that girls parents actually ended up keeping the baby despite the abhorrent abuse they’d put their other kids through 😳

Crazy how anyone would allow them to keep the baby after their past! Makes you so sad when people slip the system 😞

Ohhhh I watched this not long ago I think, kids on channel 4? I felt really sorry for that girl but she seemed to have a good head on her shoulders

What’s it called? I’ll be interested to watch it. My sons on his first sleepover tonight with my nephew and partners at the gym. I’m beside myself 😂 need to keep my mind distracted

🤣kids on channel 4 you would probably like it but the girl annabelle is really sad. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the girl who lived in the kids home if you do watch it

yes it was, she should be really proud of the way she conducts her self I was really rooting for her. Do you think the father controlled the mother? They both seemed not the sharpest tools..

I'm sure it was called Kids on channel 4,it follows a few different kids and their stories it was eye opening to watch and sad.

They just don’t care, one lad I knew absolutely loved residential homes and would say everyone should be put in one no one should go into foster care. He was so naughty but they always put down to he’s got learning difficulties and what he’s been through but he’ll have this dirty smirk on his face as people said it so he knew what he was doing. He needed to go the dentist and everything but wouldn’t push him to go to one he absolutely stank

They don’t have many residential homes open now and the ones that are, are mainly private one so they aren’t bothered they just want funding

I honestly got the vibe that he does the talking in that house and she does what he says! He gave me the creeps, I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him
It's so sad that people can have children removed from them and go on to have more and keep them. What does it say to the children that were taken. Whike system is messed up

I couldn’t believe the end when they let them keep the baby😳bless the oldest daughter praying the baby would be adopted😭😭

Honestly felt really sorry for her, hope she's doing well but also hope someone keeping an eye on the baby. We wonder why there are so many cases of children being neglected and even murdered and this is exactly why.
What did you make of that lad who would not have anything bad said against his mum. The one who was in the domestic abusive relationship?
 
It’s interesting that when Chloe talks about EH she always ends up talking about herself and how much eh has done for her. She rarely talks about enjoying being a mum because EH IS funny, cute, lovable ETC - it’s allllllll about how she’s made Chloe better.

Also, she definitely got pregnant on purpose and doubt she wanted the dad knowing, she wanted to be a single mum and never have to share her baby.

I think the mum must have lied to him for a very long time bending the truth and he then was brain washed by it. You could tell he thought SS was making it all up and he didn’t want to betray his mum. The tall skinny one who was on drugs still has his job. I found the one who lived in the home on social media and her mum has a fair few kids but has custody of them all except her, i wondered if her mum told SS she can’t cope with her

Yeah I know I shouldn't but I was getting annoyed. The way he was saying its all lies my mum was perfect but then it said his bio dad was deported for abuse against his mum and then the whole step dad stuff. I felt sorry for him but felt like his mum should of told him the actual truth instead of rehknf to cover it up.
Glad the young one still has his job, his foster parents were lovely, so glad he hadn't let them down
I cant remember how long that girl said she'd been in care, maybe it was a case of not being able to deal with her as she was getting older. Bit strange was only her who ended up in care, that can't be a nice feeling
 
Surely the bd will see this being advertised or all over social media etc work our dates and know they’re the dad? I’d hate knowing I have a daughter all over the tv and knowing I’m being slated as an absent father if I hadn’t known about the pregnancy (if that’s the case)
