Yeah a lot of people say that it’s what the doctors tell you when they don’t know what’s wrong with you and people started cottoning onto the fact that there is no official test or any way of proving if you have it so it’s an easy thing to get a diagnosis for and PIP. I once had agonising pain all over my body, no doctor would see me but I felt rough as arse and over the phone the doctor said ‘oooh have you heard of fibromyalgia’ - turns out I had sepsis. So that has skewed my view on it, does seem like a cop out diagnosis.A lot of people reckon it's all a load of tosh don't they. I've come across two people in my life who have it (*other than people online who talk about it obvs) and all I'm saying is one of them is seemingly alright to get her nails, hair, lashes, tan etc done and go on nights out or shopping or whatever (gets PIP) but soon as getting a job is mentioned she'd in absolute agony / on her death bed / unable to move a muscle
The other person on the other hand does work full time, and although she does sometimes have to have time off when things get particularly bad, for the most part she manages it and always says how it will only hold her back if she lets it.
