Guys serious question what should my teen mum uk snack be for tonight

this reminded me of my SIL who never has any money for nappies but can buy weed. She swears blind she doesnt do it anymore but her house absolutely stinks of itmy partners smell never recovered from covid and he once commented it didn’t smell anymore but it stunk of it

I dont know how anyone can smoke in the house i swear that smell absorbs anywhere!! I’d be so paranoid about my children smelling of it, just the same as when you smoke cigs in the house. Any none smokers can tell straight away. I don’t have kids but when and if the opportunity arises theres not a chance i’d disrespect them by smoking in their home my life would be about them.

I'm a non smoke and have a nose like a blood hound can smell smoke a mile off. Speaking of weed though..theres a house I pass by each morning on the school run and the woman there is always hanging out the window smoking weed, either her or this guy. Even when she's not at the window there is a very strong smell of it and she has kids there I saw them leaving the house to play after school and with the door open I nearly got high myself. Not sure whether it needs reporting?

tbh even with reporting it probably nothing will happen. My SIL got told my health visitor to make sure she smoked it outside but obviously she doesn’t.

If you report it they won’t do anything unless there’s evidence eg smoking it in front of the person investigating it. If it’s the smell they can easily say it’s from another house

I work for children services and she definitely didn’t lose her kids (if she has) because of one “smack” even if the local authority did try to remove them through court (which I highly doubt) if it was a open handed smack that left no marks then any good solicitor would argue that it was “lawful physical chastisement”

I don’t think she’s speaking about her case she’s just saying in general no one would lose custody of all their children over one smack it doesn’t sound realistic .
