I thought the same! Also spending time with the children and their families and seeing what they’re going through firsthand has got to be a really grounding experience for her, after the crazy hamster wheel of the tour. Did you see the little girl when Taylor asked her who is your favourite player and she said “Travis now” and she said “me too” 🤣 Travis has just been nominated for the Walter Payton award for his charity work and her giving back to the people of Kansas City is really nice to see, I’m here for a power couple doing some good! 😊
 
I really don’t understand how her own team or whoever’s is managing the engagement are not on the same page about general respect and what she finds to be acceptable/unacceptable when it comes to photos or videos

I’ve only seen photos/ videos from the workers in the hospital that she met or the families of the patients themselves that have posted them, she obviously doesn’t have control of that, but has her team released some elsewhere?

It was this bit. Giving the same vibes as having to "remind" her bodyguard to say please at one of the games

Obviously reflects well on her at the end of the day but I don't know how there isn't some briefing on what to do in these situations to avoid these sorts of tweets/potential headlines

Ah I hadn’t seen this! I’m guessing there is a normal protocol that the person was following, but sometimes certain settings Taylor realises she’s probably better correcting her. I often think with Celebs and Royals etc it must be difficult to work with them when you have a set of “rules” but sometimes they want to go off script. Also maybe she wanted to go there unannounced and it be relatively private so that’s what plan they was following but soon realised as usual in her world it doesn’t really work like that!

To be fair, I don't recognise that women at all from Taylor's usual team. I could be wrong but she gives me hospital management type of vibes? And she could've just assumed as typically this is what celebs say.

Yet somehow the Royals manage to avoid the whole "it's okay they can take pictures!!" or "PLEASE" situations

Maybe it's just a reflection of her PR strategy being weak right now 🤷‍♀️

Yeh same, I think she’s from the hospital and was probably briefed by Taylor’s security to not tell people she was there (while she was in the building). The vibe I get is that the woman came off a bit harsh and that would reflect badly on Taylor, so she tried to defuse it.

The difference with royal visits is that they’re usually announced beforehand and have press photographers there anyway. So there’s no need to tell people not to take pics. If they really want a completely private visit, it’s possible.

Eh I think people are pretty pleased with Taylor doing these visits even if it’s PR. It’s an overall win for her

She clearly doesn’t care that pictures are being taken so trying to spin the narrative that it’s in any way private is sort of pointless. Taylor and her team are also aware that she will be photographed wherever she goes. It’s not like she’s new to the fame game

It just comes off weird to me because clearly these people are getting some sort of mixed signal briefings about photography in some situations. It’s such a small thing but she (and I say this as a brand) is opening herself up to the PR conversation
 
I see from the Bejewelled BTS video that her posture is still as terrible as ever 😂 As a fellow tall girlie I feel this slouch on a spiritual level

Same. She was getting criticism on Reddit a while ago for not doing Make a Wish (or at least publicly) and I thought was out of line. Yes it must still be an ego boost seeing people who are so happy to see you, but no one can possibly visit children suffering from cancer in hospital and not find it difficult to process. Takes a special person to do.
