A few pages back talking about song meanings.
The one that gets me is Black Dog, i know we have spoken about london/ireland as the location, but its when the pub in london said they looked back at cctv to see if they could spot her with joe. or when people have said they are unsure if they’ve seen her in there.
The way she sings the song would suggest she has never been there herself? And she only knew of its existence because they ‘forgot to turn their location off’ which they clearly didn’t forget, it was on purpose for her to see. And its a matty song?
Does that make sense at all? 🫣

I think some of the people in there are just there because they can be and it was free, the fans wants a good view because they’re fans. I was in front of the vip tent night one and for the most part they were in there chatting

The pub has seriously just tried to cash in on the whole thing and I don’t think it has any connection to the song, they’ve just run with it and it’s a bit embarrassing on their part. I’d imagine it’s scared away any sort of loyal custom they had for temporary business due to the eras tour. If joe had been a regular as if he’d go there now. They’d never have sold themselves out like that if they had actors going in there regularly,

I think you’d have to buy the tickets and then forward them on and have the money sent to you. If it’s something you felt comfortable doing, I’m looking for 3 seated tickets for either of those dates and would be happy to send the money in advance of the transfer via PayPal or however you felt more secure doing it! ☺️🥰

And also should caveat that it’s not a problem if not! I’m refreshing twickets like a mad woman on the daily so I have hope!

The lyrics do suggest she's never been there - "Into some bar called The Black Dog" - I wouldn't refer to it that way if I'd been there.

Still unsure whether it's a Matty song though 🤔

I think the song is a made up song about a hypothetical scenario. The black dog probably isn’t a literal place

I think turn off the location doesn't necessarily mean tracking, she could be alluding to sm and Matty not being discreet. When the band played in Ireland (and their whole tour they have a bunch of dedicated fans) there were a lot of sm posts about it.
 
Speaking of the black dog, there was a sniffer dog outside Wembley yesterday who of course I had to stop and give attention to - he had so many friendship bracelets on his lead 😭 he was a black Labrador and luckily I hadn’t swapped my Black Dog bracelet yet so he got my first bracelet 🫶🏼 the owner was so chuffed that Taylor had a song called that

The starting line is a Band Matty likes and he played their song on tour just before he met up with Taylor.
Her rain soaked body = the rain show he attended
Said she needed a brave man, then proceeded to play him, sounds like Matty was pointing out Joes need for privacy was causing her harm and she needs to stop hiding. But in the end Matty couldn't cope with her crazy fans either.
