link) and the lichen wouldn't survive a global temp increase, meaning the stones are more exposed to pollution from the A303 (which they're planning to upgrade with a tunnel directly under stonehenge). long term changes in the environment will do much more damage than some dyed cornstarch, which has worked bc now everyone is talking about it!
