The speech makes me cringe in the same way the ‘every day just like clock work’ speech she did when she was younger on tour 🥲

I don’t like the scripted speeches tbf, I much prefer at a show when artists just talk to you ad hoc but I get her show is more of a spectacle as opposed to other artists I’ve seen where they just chat a bit inbetween.

Nope I meant she has kids who will see this nonsense which isn't right. Who she is trying to protect aswell as explain things too. People forget that.

so my little human made me stop at the beginning of Lover because he was hating the entire thing and wanted to watch Bluey instead. I can’t say I blame him, I don’t think I unclenched from cringing the entire time. Does she loosen up at all in the show? The facial expressions, the over rehearsed talking, the POINTING for screaming, everything except the vocals made me die inside.
 
Yes it seems like a theatre show to me. I love it. It’s very dramatic and theatrical, which her music lends itself well to (and her personality tbf) 😅

I dunno…. I just love it, I think it really works as a spectacular show.

For me, and this is just my opinion obviously, her lyrics are where she strips herself bare and is vulnerable and I don’t mind she doesn’t do the same on stage in that intimate /chatty way.
But then what do I know, I don’t even mind “The Man” 👀 😂
 
I don’t like dramatics and cheese but I do understand why she sticks to a script. If she didn’t then things she said would be twisted and some nights people will think they were preferred over other crowds. When you’re doing the amount of shows she is the last thing you want to think of is how your words will be taken if you were to just go with what’s on your mind.
 
Has anyone seen the clip on the SwiftlyNeutral page from Chris Diseefanos podcast that confirmed Matty and Taylor were allegedly dating in feb 2023? That puts them allegedly seeing each other before Taylor and Joe were together at the Grammys after party…
Joe apparently last liked one of Taylor’s insta posts on March 16th.
there are also blind items about Taylor and Matty being seen together at a party in October 2022.
This just adds to my suspicions that Taylor Cheated

just came across this video on TikTok and it just shows how amazing and natural she is with literally any audience and further proves your point to me. I’m so jealous of anyone who ever attended secret sessions!!!! It must’ve been incredible.
Also the way kiddies are singing alongside her here is just chefs kiss! She truly is amazing x

I think you've misread the dates of this. Looks like it was 7th March, not Feb, but still.

Chris was on the Joe Rogan podcast back in Feb 2023 and a clip of him went viral praising The 1975. In this episode of his own podcast, Chris confirms to Trevor Wallace that The 1975 reached out after seeing the clip and planned to meet him at an SNL afterparty, presumably after they performed on March 11th (Jenna Ortega hosted).

Matty was unable to make the afterparty because by that point he was already secretly with Taylor and he had plans with her, Chris says. This was also a week before the first Eras Tour concert in Glendale, AZ.

Taylor and Joe’s breakup was not officially announced until April 8th. Plus, Taylor was not technically seen with Matty until May 2023, I believe. Beginning of May was when the infamous double “This one is about you. You know who you are. I love you” mouthing happened.

Would she not have been in Glendale though at that stage?

She may have been, but depending on how long she had been rehearsing, she might have taken it slower the week before to put her voice in the best condition.
Weren’t there also rumours that Mattys girlfriend had to sign NDAs due to ~shady timelines~?
I genuinely think there may have been an overlap.

I know we don’t know what Joe did or got up to but I truly would not be surprised if there was an overlap and Taylor cheated. She’s made it no secret that she’s been that way in the past, and what better way to stick a middle finger to your dying 7 year relationship than to get with an old friend (absolute sarcasm btw, this is a terrible thing to do 🤣).
