Biggest caffeine fiend was telling me this.... I am clueless. They have Sour and Guts on vinyl so I didnt buy myself Guts. May buy a deluxe copy now if its available.

Im taking biggest CF to Olivia and littlest CF to Taylor. It makes me well up thinking about it. My parents would never when I was their age.
I remember my mum telling me she had got us tickets to see Britney when I was 8/9 and I vividly remember nearly crying I was so happy!

On another note, I actually listened to all of 'the very first night' and what a bop! I had kind of ignored it cause the intro was a bit meh but that's shown me 🤣

Sad that my predicted favourite song didn’t make the poll. I have high hopes for The Alchemy. I’m very heavily leaning into the theory that it will be about Taylor being the alchemist in her relationship with Joe (alchemy being the magical power to turn an ordinary metal into gold) and that she realises that she was the alchemist all along. All of the previous references she made to gold (and there are many!) were because she made him and their relationship golden, it was her creating the gold, not just being in the presence of gold.
Does that make sense? I can never tell if I’m articulating my thoughts properly!

God I bloody hope not. The womans ego knows no bounds if so 😂

My sister was older than me and able to take me, Boyzone in 1999 was a life defining moment for tweenage me 😂

@ellobird - I didn't get to see your post before the last thread closed, but sending love. It's so shit. I've felt shit all week. Taylor still doing a lot of work soothing my angst 😂

Many of the titles are just cringy. Daddy I love him. 🤮 Taylor you are a 34 year old woman!

Let’s be real, by anything we know of Scott all she is is Scott’s retirement plan. Any guy is a threat to him except Travis because he loves football and think of the money they could make as a super couple.

I could see her having that conversation even as a 34 year old woman because she isn’t free to make her own choices.

This was me with the spice girls, the tickets were on my birthday and i was so happy I cried.. and then Geri announced she was leaving and there were even more tears but not happy ones. It was an emotional time for 8 year old me!

Best thing ever was her taking me to concerts when I was younger. I like to return the favour and take her to concerts now, we went to one last Saturday 😊

Started Era Tour movie and I remember why I listen to her with my eyes closed 😂. Everything is so so calculated and looks incredibly rehearsed. Nothing natural about it. Please never be an actress Taylor 😂😂

I’ve just got to The Man so a LONG way to go, I don’t know if I’ll last.
Edit: I know everyone rehearses but she’s so wooden and obviously hitting marks it’s incredible.

I really dislike the man, it’s not the feminist anthem she thinks it is

This thread is fascinating to me as a Taylor newbie, because all I know about her is what I loosely followed via gossip news over the years: (ex) boyfriends, feuds with other celebs, lawsuits, money, intense fandom that over-identifies with her, etc. I have never watched a music video or interview with her. Now that I’m listening to some of her music (still mostly to newer songs starting with 1989) I think it’s a shame there’s such a massive circus around her (possibly created by herself in part?), because her artistry can absolutely speak for itself.

I think it might be a song about how she was insisting someone (matty?) was right for her when he wasn’t, and now looking back she can realise how childish it was (by using the title “but daddy I love him” to make fun of how she was acting). So cool how just a song title can be interpreted in different ways!

I was thinking something like this. Also think it’s about Matty haha.
