Do Americans really not drink until 21. Maybe it’s a cultural thing but by like 22-23 I was bored of drinking cause I’d being doing it since I was like 14 🤣

I remember in uni there was a trip to Amsterdam and I was offered a free place if I looked after one of the coaches. Got a coach mostly made up of American students, let’s just say you could tell many had never drunk before at 18 or 19. Just wished I paid for the trip and didn’t have to deal with how they were 🤣

I mean, the only reason I'm not Mrs Paul Rudd is that I couldn't cope with the attention* ... Taylor was one of the most written about, talked about (a big chick chunk of it critical) and photographed women in the world when they met.

Yeah I think he loved her and she told him he wanted a quiet life (which at the time was true since she was completely burned out by the media's attacks against her) so he thought they'd be in a cocoon together. I guess most people don't go into a relationship thinking about what will happen if/when it ends. And no one could have foreseen she'd reach this level of fame.

It's like that photo of how many likes her Instagram posts for new albums have gotten. It went from like 2 million for lover to 13 million or smth for TTPD. She grew exponentially.

Not saying their breakup was ever going to be quiet but it would have been much more normal if she was still at her 2019 levels of fame.

I think if we compare it to last year's award season, and even when he was promoting Conversations with Friends we're seeing way more of him now. It's all at awards shows or events, yes, but I can comfortably bet he was attending those last year and the one before and the coverage wasn't this focused.

A lot of celebs don't go for the pap walks/extreme publicity so I don't think it's weird that Joe chose to be an actor but also wants to be private. He will go to events/do interviews etc but maybe just has quite strict boundaries between whats for work and what's his personal business.

Agree with the comments that he just loved Taylor so it was worth it and he didn't see her blowing up to this level. She really is just on another level of celeb right now. 😂

I think he is attractive but gosh his eye bags on some of those pics are so intense! Hopefully he is holding up OK in this circus, I wouldn't wish the Swiftie mob on anyone.
