Taylor Swift #35 Now that wee don’t talk

One thing I do still wonder with the Matty/Taylor thing is whether it was all publicity for music they had been working on together.
I do believe they had history and yes, there might have been some truth in them ‘hooking up’ more recently but it would make sense if Gabriette had to sign an NDA but suddenly they’re back together as soon as Taylor and Matty split?
I just don’t think it went the way they had assumed it would and I honestly think it would be hurting Matty more that her side didn’t stick up for him and they just washed their hands of him instead. Although the 1975 are huge at the moment it would/should have increased their popularity and instead the opposite happened and it was all for nothing.

I saw some of this and for me, it’s the vitriol in how he speaks about it. It’s a toxic and popular opinion among men but why is he so angry about it? 🤢

Probably the only activity they can do in public that looks “natural”

Having dinner looks like a PR situation because they have to be seen

I read a while ago that someone was at the same restaurant as her and her party once. Apparently said place has private bathrooms for their VIPs that are somehow connected to the VIP room. Our bestie Taylor had no interest in using that though and instead went to the povo ones that required her to exit the VIP room and walk through the povo space. Who knows if it’s real but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised atp

If it was just for PR, I have no idea I what she was thinking. Announcing your breakup from a six year relationship and then publicly dating someone else a week or two later is never a good look.

Well if the Slut! thing was real then it would have tied in to that quite well. Like people quick to call her that for moving on too quickly but actually she was just writing music with someone.
Or whatever the music was might have explained it better and might have been imminent, whereas instead it’s just been left open to interpretation and makes her look even worse.
Weren’t there suspected Easter eggs in the I Can See You music video that just haven’t been explained? And I’m still not buying the onstage declarations of love from both parties.

It’s not a good look whatever the reason behind it was, but they were working on music together at some point so it just makes more sense than doing it ‘just because we like each other’. If they wanted to keep a relationship secret they could have a lot longer than they did and then when it was announced it wouldn’t have seemed AS bad (but still clearly wouldn’t have been taken well).

they were definitely sleeping together though - he was pictured leaving her place early in the morning a couple of times; I doubt it was a case of just creating music.

Just wondering is she ever on her own, bar sleeping? As even on their dates they’ve always got an entourage around, think that’s Sabrina with her too there in the pic, it’s like she has a compulsion to always be “on” in front of an audience no matter how small or big it is. I just wish she would have had a good period of being single after Joe and focused on herself away from being Taylor Swift, without acting like a limpet, was no need to rush into Matty or Travis, it’s like a fear she has of being on her own!

I find it very weird that they each had to bring friends with them. They are in the early days of the relationship, they should be craving one on one time together, enjoying experiences together, not needed others around to act like buffers. Doesn't bode well tbh.

Taylor is surrounded by her crew, management , dancers, backing singers, Sabrina, family though and obviously will be busy for hours every show night. I think it's ok that he has company.

I mean to the zoo. They each have other people there with them. It just feels like an experience that you'd want to have as a couple. It just reminds me of teenagers who were almost afraid to hang out one on one incase they found out they didn't like each other 😂

Yes especially as she had already been to the zoo with everyone in tow before he got there, don’t know why they couldn’t have just gone and done something together
on their own? (Apart from the security)

I think they were just hooking up. They’ve been friends years so he’d make a comfortable rebound for her and I think he was not long after breaking up with Twigs who he was with for years. I can imagine the on stage thing was probably some sort of private joke they both thought was hilarious.

They probably were talking music as well but I’m also not 100% I believe the Slut! rumours
 
The zoo with her dancers felt like her way of saying thank you to me..like a manager taking you out for lunch on a Friday afternoon (can’t relate). I’m not sure it’s because she NEEDED them around and maybe she just enjoyed it and wanted to take Travis the next day
